Request Stream #1 Tomorrow, NEW VOTING METHOD
Added 2017-12-17 01:28:42 +0000 UTCHey guys, I have a new note to make about the stream voting. There will be a new way to vote in the request streams that makes things much easier, fairer, but does require a little more explaining.
If you're familiar with the TwoKinds streams and voting, it's the exact same thing. Amenon was twokind to me and did me a favour by replicating the same system Tom uses. How this works is this:
1. Go to https://fkpolls.com/
2. Leave that page open(during the stream, not now), and it will auto-refresh and update once a vote goes live.
3. The vote will appear as a list of options on the left, and a blank column on the right, like so:
4. Drag and drop the options from left to right, and drag-drop up and down on the right to sort them into your personal preference order, with your first choice up top, and last choice on bottom, like so:
5. Leave the page open! There is no "submit" button or anything. The system will count up the votes and close the ballots/poll automatically once time is up.
That's it! It's a little different, hopefully not confusing. It will let me put more than 4 options up there and not worry to much about chances. It should also give ideas that might normally come in 2nd or 3rd have a better chance at winning, or just overall is much better than a "winner take all/first-past-the-post" system.

2017-12-17 08:04:48 +0000 UTCOh sweet. I'm glad to see a system being used that isn't FPTP. Are you speculating doing something similar for the pinup vote? With the tiers just giving you more choices for ranking characters? Like the default is giving one character 5 points, then the next tier you get to give 5 points to one and 4 to another, and so on? The alternative I had suggested before was just the tiers determine the *number* of characters you can vote for, which would massively cut down on the vote numbers, as well as slow down how much the ultra-popular characters skyrocket. Just spitballing here since the idea occurred to me and I felt the need to pass it to you before I lose it. ;P

2017-12-17 06:03:30 +0000 UTCI love this system of voting as it means that if I voted for the lowest item my vote then goes to my next favorite making it more likely to win and so on, it's a very ingenious and honestly fairer way of voting as it means that its truly the most popular item that is chosen ^_^

(unless of course i get picked 4th then screw sleeping XD)
