VALE Stock Analysis

Hey Patreons, want to give you a heads up. Working on a video about VALE and based on my analysis this stock has a significant upside of 50-80%. It has plenty of risk but the upside is quite interesting. My video and DCF will be posted here on Patreon soon, wanted to give you a heads. Current price is $12.88 as of November 2, but I see this as an $18 stock and more quite soon.

Technically it is still a falling knife. I will look for it to base before considering.

The divident yield on this is awesome....even if the stock tanks a bit it is a nice cushion to absorb this

Tom, why do you think the stock has dropped into the 12-13 range?

David Kamnitzer

Been long ok this since it was 23$ for about 6 months now. I keep dollar costing down

Michael Wirsching

Solid information Tom. Added Vale to my portfolio today. Thanks :)

Didn't Chinese iron, aluminum and silver miners and commodities respectfully shot up drastically, because they wanted to park there money safely when Trump started to target Chinese imports? I remember in one book there was a example that after WW2 Germans were buying nails and stones to save the money from hyperinflation. Hope it never goes that far anywhere...

Please don’t get me wrong!! I agree that Iron Ore will rise during inflation and I believe in Vale. In fact I increased my position in it. My question is about the effectiveness of stock analysis the when the price depends very heavily on raw materials??? Well I agree that the analysis will raise any red flags of why we should AVOID investing. These red flags can be bad management and high debt. But other than that I don’t see the analysis providing any valuable forecast of future price.

Was this talked about in the last zoom call? If so at what point?

Zach

As a Brazilian, I've been following both VALE and PBR. Gotta love those dividends. Looking forward to your video on this Tom

John Ostrowski

what do you think happens to iron prices during inflationary times Bassel?

Generico Fakero

I saw correlation between Vale chart and Iron Ore chart and they are almost identical. I think that 90% of Vale price is just a reflection of Iron Ore price. This essentially means that buying Vale is simply buying Iron Ore.
