Here's my concepts for Rane's pinup! I started with #1 first, from an old thumbnail I had. I liked the idea but didn't like the result; hips were weird, torso needed more twisting, and just ultimately thought it wasn't worth fiddling over, and instead develop a similar pose but from a better angle, and that resulted in #4, which I like quite a lot, and think will be the pose I go with.
However, I do very much like 2 and 3 as well, so might some of you if you're into boy butt. #2 was playing with the idea of getting ready to shower and dealing with problematic anisodactyl feet (three toes front, one back). I also thought it was a LIIITTLE too "here's my ass" for what I think would make a big pinup, and that 3 and 4 just had better composition and poses. 3 would make a good daki though! back goods, bit of the front goods, so.. it's close. but i can more easily see #4 as a finished piece, complete with sheath/erect/flaccid/human cock versions. It also shows male frontal figure as opposed to more back.
I'm not picky though, just indecisive. Rane is just me, and if I looked like Rane I'd probably pose like this all the time. With more clothes on at times, sure. Enjoy, attached 2,3,4 in large sketch files.

Do you do any kind of "underdrawing" before you get to this point in your sketching, or have you enough experience now that you can just go straight for these lines (like what you're showing here)? If possible, I'd like to see your entire sketching process broke down step by step, sometime. I'm trying to learn more about beginning poses, and how more experienced artists make up a pose from scratch. ^^;;

2016-09-14 23:23:07 +0000 UTCIt's rare that I find males cute or sexy, though Rane is one of those few exceptions. #3 and #4 (with erect version[s]) are the ones I would choose to see finished, though (3) would need some fixing of the taint & scrotum anatomy as they are too far back (seemingly for visibility's sake over correctness).

2016-09-14 16:05:20 +0000 UTC#1 and #2 are cute. #3 makes no sense to me with his scotum being like five miles away from his dick. I don't really like that sort of forced anatomy for pinup purposes. "Migrating scrotum" is one of my pet peeves with male pinups. Like, the scrotum is attached to the front of the body. Anything more than about a 20 degree turn from facing directly away and it should be hidden by the leg. #4 is probably my favorite here. It's a relaxed pose that shows off as much as possible, and works very well for a clothed version as well to make it casual and SFW. Or a post-orgasm messy version? Eh? Eh? :D Either way, I really like #4.
