Mod Updates: April 7th 2022 - Arranged Marriages
Added 2022-04-08 04:37:06 +0000 UTCArranged Marriages is now updated and includes the following updates:
- My Wedding Stories (MWS) wedding and engagement party are now accessible again. (More details below)*
- Sims adopted as Care Dependents can now be arranged for, and Care Givers can be told a sim no longer wants an arrangement.
- Neutral wedding has been re-enabled for those with MWS, you no longer need Tmexi's mod if you were only worried about the neutral wedding, otherwise you can keep his in for the EA base game wedding (there should be no conflict).
- Wedding venue is now an option in my custom wedding.
- Translations added for Brazilian Portuguese by Ayrthwil and Traditional Chinese by GreenOnionC. Italian translations by Isy should be on their site soon for downloading.
*I don't know why/how it was working before the most recent updates, but after studying the files and what was blocking it, it's technically doing what it's supposed to which is blocking EA weddings so that sims who aren't in love can't use them. But since the MWS wedding is completely different and allows customization to be somewhat neutral, I've gone ahead and unblocked the MWS wedding until I can outline a better plan. EA base game weddings are still blocked if sims are not in love.
I'm still currently looking into a few other bugs, but they have proved a bit more difficult to solve than anticipated (always something these days).
