Dev Blog: 03/31/2022 - Another Quick Update

Hey everyone! Just wanted to make a very quick post to let you know I've almost caught up on stuff I missed/need to do, as I'm taking it slow to not overwhelm myself and also because I've been working when I can on some projects with Pancake. 

But despite needing to take it slow my mind has been in overdrive lately thinking on what small projects I can work on next in-between my big projects, and also some possible solutions for two issues I've seen frequently requested be fixed by the community. I don't want to say what they are yet because I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but as as soon as I do and have proof it works you guys will know (and if not, a sad note about it in the next blog post). I can't see a reason why both ideas won't work though, I'm fairly confident they will, but then again I got slapped around by the broom despite thinking it was easy so I have learned to control my optimism, lol.

For the other smaller projects I've been thinking of, it includes stuff like some outdoor activities for adults and kids, and a baby monitor. I talked it over with Panda and she agrees the plan for the baby monitor should work, now to actually make it and see if there's any loopholes I didn't think of.

For AM, I'm still working on updates. I've gotten a lot of feedback, some bugs to fix, and minor ideas to implement, but there's so many now I'm going to have to break off from my original idea and split the updates to keep this manageable. I for sure want to add a tutorial and an interaction on the family members themselves, because the most common question and confusion (despite explaining this in the download post) is "Where are the interactions?" but they're clicking on family looking for a picker, instead of another household. It's driving me crazy so I need to find more ways to get that info displayed better, including hopefully adding my custom pie menu setting, which I'll explain about more next time. 

Anyways, for now going to focus on researching those fixes, hopefully get another AM update out not long after the hotfix, some other updates out for my smaller mods, and start prepping for my next big project (not sewing as I'm waiting on Pancake for sewing animations still), which I think I've decided on and will announce in the next blog.
