Update Post: Pink Skies & More

Hey fans, back with another update! I apologize for the wait on this update post. I got absorbed into making mods (and lots of research), real life of course, and my baby is also on and off teething, so getting him to sleep is very difficult some days. I have to take the free time when I get it! We're planning on moving my computer to the living room though so I'll be able to finally work and watch my baby at the same time, so I should be able to almost double my work speed soon. Just need to get a desk as right now I'm using a folding table (oof). Currently the only free time I get is if grandma watches him or he sleeps, which is sometimes only an hour at a time.

Is anyone else excited about or enjoying Discover University? I've been following the details and so far it sounds like everything I've wanted for a very long time. I can't wait to sit down and play! Also, I had planned to do several mods for Uni but people beat me to them already. I still plan on doing my own versions but since people already released theirs my planned ones are not much of a priority. I'll still do my best to get them out soon though.

On to our update! This week I will be discussing some small and medium mods and my current plans surrounding them. Next post I will outline the details of my Arranged Marriages mod which keeps growing! And I have a bit of a surprise mod I'll mention at the end! Also, this is a bit long so I apologize. I'll try to keep it short as I plan on being more in-depth in later WIP posts.

General Mods

Before we get into everything, I first want to say that after I make and fix a few more small mods I will be focusing on medium and large projects only (unless it's requested or I love the idea). This is because with my limited time I really need to sit down and focus on these projects. And by small mods I mean small alterations like my occult plumbob ring mod, or the no social motive decay. Sure, they are easy, but that's still time searching, editing, testing, releasing and artwork. If I want to make a dent in any of my projects I need to restrict what I do, and there are several creators out there (like Scarlet) who take small and even medium mod requests, so my presence for small mods isn't a loss!

I'm still working on any previous mods I mentioned before as they are considered medium/large, so if you were wanting them don't worry! 

The small and medium mods I have planned for Uni include:

• Generated Uni sims are restricted to just YA (May make a teen one to go with the current teen mods to simulate high school.)
• Expensive Uni classes (Maybe 2 versions. I know we have 2 mods for this already but they aren't expensive enough! I hear all the time that people have almost 80k in debt, and in S4 you can easily earn that much in like 2 weeks or less. LET MY SIMS SUFFER! On a serious note, this mod has 390 files. I'm trying to find a way to automate it, otherwise this one will be put away for later.)
  

Bloody Vampire Bites & Wounds

This was requested by shinobumustard on Deaderpool! I instantly loved the idea and I'm still shocked no one has made one yet! With this mod your vampires and victims will have blood on them once the feeding is done, much like the bite holes we already have. I plan on doing a varied version, where each feeding type makes the overlays more bloody. I couldn't find any decent neck overlays so I have to create some, which makes this my first time working on skin detail CC. If it wasn't for that I probably would be done by now as the mod is pretty simple to make if you know what you're doing (which, thanks to someone else's project a few weeks ago, helped me learn how to do).

Pink Skies

Yes, you read that right! Someone requested this last month on the S4S forums and a modder said they would work on it, but returned earlier this month to say it wasn't possible. I think not! I went digging because I knew people messed with this stuff before and found a tutorial that explains the general process. The skies are based on the skies in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable in Morioh. I'm still waiting on a response from the requester for some details but will make a BGC version for now to get the feel of it. If you are interested in doing your own colorful skies, here is the tutorial. 

Sewing Poses

This was requested a while ago but I never got around to it. I hope to do these soon! These will be regular sewing poses and without a machine as it's meant for history play. 

Surprise: Archery Range and Skill is coming!

Ahhhh! Yes! I wasn't planning on converting this to S4 for a while but someone was requesting a collaboration as they already converted the objects. Might as well join in! I do not have an ETA but I'm hoping to get started on this soon. I unfortunately am doing a lot of juggling (as I'm sure you guys have noticed) but this at least keeps me from getting burnt out on just one project. 

I hope to have a WIP shot with animations for you guys soon. 

The order of importance ATM:

• Bloody Vampire Bites & Wounds
• Sewing Poses
• First steps of the archery range project which is converted animations and basic interactions
• BG version of Pink Skies
• In-between all of that is my Arranged Marriage mod when I have the chance. I want the first version released as soon as possible.
