Ancient Forest

A new setting! Well, I had yet to make any maps specifically suited for the mega forests featuring the monumental trees that the Wood Elves call home. This is the first of those maps. As your party enters the woodland realm their trek will become increasingly dominated by these living giants. I really enjoyed making this one and found it so satisfying to putt color to!
This encounter setting includes some ground space surrounded by many perches in the limbs above to make the action dynamic. This settings is a large boreal rainforest with oversized logs, beehives, ferns, and tree fungi. At night the tree fungi glow faintly and the fireflies come out to make for a magical feel. Who wouldn't want to hike through such a place?!
