Would you be interested by other Star Fox comics in parallel?
Added 2024-12-19 14:47:29 +0000 UTCWhile I have another comic planned after The Bond 2 (as I still believe Fox and Krystal need plenty of time before being in a healthy place to start something serious), I actually have other unrelated stories that could potentially be made in parallel with different artists, assuming people would support them.
Kursed x Fox
Kursed is Krystal's new identity after joining Star Wolf following the events of Star Fox Command, where she’s seen as a traitor by everyone. She later became a lone bounty hunter and took on that name. "Canonically," she met Fox again, but he didn’t recognize her.
I’ve always wanted to give her some kind of redemption and reunite her with Fox. I have a story in mind where they spend the night together, as if they were two random mercenaries meeting for the first time and satisfying some needs, while Kursed is fully aware of who her partner is.
Miyu x Wolf & Panther
Miyu and Fay would be celebrating their graduation as pilots at a party, where they meet Wolf, who’s trying to recruit Panther for his Star Wolf team. Not revealing his identity, a game of pride develops between Wolf and Miyu, eventually leading to them spending the night together. Fay would be too drunk to participate, so Miyu would gladly take her place, just to prove how tough she is.
Katt x Falco
I don’t have a clear story for them yet, but I’d love to create something with these two.
As always, I’d like to know if these stories would interest you enough to support one being made in parallel? I just don’t want to create any sort of Star Fox fatigue, you know.

That is sad to hear, but at the same time not so surprising. Star Fox just seems to be a small and a niche series, that has very vocal fan base. And even that fan base is split on what they personally want from the series. Appreciate you trying though! :)

2024-12-22 06:21:39 +0000 UTCI actually tried to create a team of artists to make a SFW Star Fox comic with a more traditional story. It failed so hard - because nobody actually gives enough crap about Star Fox, even the "real" fans - that I had to stick to small silly stories, with an artist who doesn't even know Star Fox. I had no struggle to do such project for My little Pony, Sonic, or Pokémon, but Star Fox, nope, doesn't work. Seems to always be one single super hardcore fan carrying their project on their own shoulders. Until there's enough success for other artists to join, ah. But that's why I prefer to stick with NSFW with those characters. At least, artists like drawing Krystal, even if their version is very personal.

2024-12-20 11:32:52 +0000 UTCI would definitely prefer you sticking with The Bond II for now, but I am most engaged in a Falco x Katt story afterward. Even further still, I think there would be room for additional SFW action-adventure-packed original Star Fox comics showing the whole team doing one of their mercenary jobs together. I definitely would be game with fleshing out the characters and the story of their universe since Nintendo doesn't seem to want to do it themselves.

2024-12-19 17:31:10 +0000 UTCI say stick to the Bond and ignore the canon about her leaving. Just focus on Krystal and Fox growing together as a couple and the ups and downs with that.
