Chapter 501: Send Eumibella to Yishemierlen Palace to Have a Child

Charlot Mecklenburg had no intention of letting Yishemierlen Palace fully recover. Commanding his ghost fleet, he maneuvered to intercept the ghost ships under the control of Yishemierlen Palace.

This time, however, the ghost ships controlled by Yishemierlen Palace demonstrated a cooperative stance. At times, when Charlot pursued a specific ship, ghostly crew members would even jump overboard to save him the trouble of a prolonged chase.

Despite these efforts, Charlot could not entirely prevent Yishemierlen Palace from devouring ghost ships. He managed to intercept only a portion of them. Hours later, the sea was left with only Charlot’s ghost fleet, while all the ships once part of Yishemierlen Palace's fleet had been absorbed by it.

Now restored to its peak condition, Yishemierlen Palace was shrouded in countless wailing spirits. These spirits coalesced into the vague form of a colossal entity.

This towering figure wielded a trident, its upper body bare while its lower half swirled like smoke and mist, ethereal and ever-shifting.

Charlot’s ghost fleet had grown to over 900 ships. He issued a command for the fleet to retreat, as it was evident the upcoming battle would render them unnecessary.

Aboard one of the ghost ships, Charlot returned to the Radiant Holy Kingdom.

The moment Charlot set foot on the Radiant Holy Kingdom, a cold voice resonated, quelling all other thoughts:

“Charlot Mecklenburg!”

As the reverberations of the voice subsided, everything before Charlot’s eyes vanished. In the next moment, he found himself standing on a platform in another “world.”

Before him were the same five individuals. One of them, a graceful woman who bore an 80–90% resemblance to Eumibella, smiled as she spoke to a little boy holding her hand:

“Your father is a hero! He’s fighting tirelessly for our family. You must be proud of him and learn to be as brave as he is.”

The boy’s clear, innocent eyes gleamed with mischief as he snuck a grimace at Charlot.

However, this wasn’t the kind of childish, playful grimace one might expect. Instead, the boy’s entire face suddenly sprouted eyes. Even Charlot, with his usual composure, nearly felt his knees buckle.

For the first time, Charlot had glimpsed the true face of Amon.

He would never want to see it again.

The boy returned to his usual innocent appearance, looking endearingly cute.

Meanwhile, the majestic Sea Serpent Queen Posugi, with her serpent tail and breathtaking beauty, lay sprawled silently as if injured. Her laziness seemed almost regal, yet Charlot dared not approach her to offer comfort.

What could he say? “You’ve worked so hard; let me get you some fries later?”

The tall and elegant Dabachiro, crowned with flowers like a classical elven queen, looked even more anguished. She was busy weaving a new flower crown, and as Charlot watched the writhing branches and flower petals that opened and closed like tiny mouths, he was 1,000% sure he never wanted to wear it.

His head was not on the menu.

Nearby, the plump and voluptuous Whale King continued munching on something—specifically, ghost ship crew members! The sight was thoroughly horrifying, reeking of an eldritch horror.

The palace, formed by the Radiant Holy Kingdom, glowed in resplendent hues as it clashed against the pitch-black aura of Yishemierlen Palace. Both palaces floated amidst an endless void of darkness, each collision sending shockwaves that seemed to shake even the darkness itself. The battle was far fiercer than before.

This time, however, there were no ghost ships traversing the void. Charlot, thinking that his role in the battle might be over, was startled when Eumibella clenched her fist and declared:

“Just in time. Yishemierlen has awakened, and our family needs you to personally challenge it!”

Charlot glanced at the towering, mountain-like figure above Yishemierlen Palace. He couldn’t help but mutter to himself:

“How am I supposed to fight that?”

“I’m not even the size of one of its leg hairs!”

As Charlot struggled with the decision of whether to seek guidance from Amon to find an escape route—though the previous escape rift had been patched by Eumibella—five strange powers suddenly surged into his body.

In an instant, Charlot Mecklenburg felt his every fiber brimming with...

The power of Evil Gods.

Five distinct and malevolent divine forces miraculously harmonized, flooding his body. Even after he was completely saturated, the energies continued to pour in, causing his body to slowly expand.

Charlot watched in horror as he grew larger, his form swelling to an enormous size. Though he reached hundreds of pimi in height, he was still no match for the colossal mountain-like Yishemierlen, as insignificant as an ant before an elephant.

The Flaming Lance, an embodiment of Flame Evil God Anururu, also expanded to over a thousand pimi, as thick as the largest pillar of any palace. With no time to think, Charlot channeled all the Evil God energy within him and lunged at Yishemierlen.

The Flaming Lance collided with what seemed to be an invisible barrier enveloping Yishemierlen. Though its form appeared ethereal, the impenetrable Divine Radiance shielded its body. Even with the combined power of five divine beings, Charlot could not break through.

Then, Charlot heard a voice:

“Charlot, do not be afraid. I am your teacher, Juno.”

Stunned, Charlot shouted, “Teacher Juno? Why are you here?”

The gentle voice of Juno Arthur replied, “I couldn’t leave my student to face this alone.”

Just as Charlot was moved by this sentiment, Juno added:

“Also, fallen Evil Gods are the most delicious delicacies. How could I miss this feast?”

“Your teacher aspires to become a god as well!”

Charlot was left speechless. He asked, “How can I dispel Yishemierlen’s Divine Radiance?”

Juno explained, “Yishemierlen governs death, though its dominion is incomplete. Otherwise, it would have become the Tenth True God by now. To counteract its authority, we must disrupt the concept of death itself to erase its Divine Radiance.”

“How do we disrupt death?” Charlot asked.

Juno’s reply was calm: “Eumibella is pregnant, is she not?”

“Have her give birth in Yishemierlen Palace.”

Charlot took a moment to grasp the bizarre suggestion and couldn’t resist retorting: “Teacher, your imagination could write novels. But would this really work? And besides, childbirth doesn’t happen instantly. Doesn’t it require time?”

Juno’s tone turned enigmatic. “She is a divine being. When have you ever heard of Evil Gods abiding by human logic?”
