Chapter 474: Then Let’s Fight!

As the Radiant Holy Kingdom prowled the seas, wreaking havoc, Charlot Mecklenburg noticed an increasing number of Wriggling Demons on the ship. These blue giants, who had been absent from the world not long ago, were now familiar enough to greet him warmly, as though it was natural for Charlot to know them well.

The illustrations Charlot had distributed were clearly insufficient. He even saw seven or eight blue giants with strikingly similar features, differing only slightly in height and build.

The illustrations he had prepared for the novel primarily featured female portraits, with few male ones.

Thus, female Wriggling Demons had yet to exhibit such phenomena.

Under Charlot’s guidance, however, the painters of Fars had made significant progress, bridging the gap in skill. Their depictions of characters were exceptionally appealing. If any Wriggling Demon could transform into a human woman, they were all essentially top-tier beauties from the two-dimensional realm—apart from slightly odd facial proportions and unnaturally shaped figures, everything was extraordinarily perfect.

Now, Charlot was curious: how many ghost ships could the Radiant Holy Kingdom devour?

Yet, he also felt troubled by the rapid increase in Wriggling Demons aboard the ship.

Although the Radiant Holy Kingdom was massive, its speed rivaled that of the Queen Bee. Under Charlot’s control, he intentionally limited the Radiant Holy Kingdom’s devouring speed, maintaining a perfect distance from the ghost fleet.

Whenever Charlot unleashed the Radiant Holy Kingdom, his mind became flooded with countless thoughts, which he always ignored. While steering the Radiant Holy Kingdom to avoid a fleet of more than twenty ghost ships, a cold voice suddenly drowned out all others:

“Charlot Mecklenburg!”

The moment this voice resonated, everything before Charlot vanished. He found himself in another “world.” This place was undoubtedly not a Dreamscape but an indescribable “space.”

He stood on a platform that was part of a palace.

The platform was not empty. A graceful woman, her face brimming with anger, stared at him. She bore an eight-to-nine-point resemblance to Eumibella, holding the hand of a small boy. The boy’s eyes were as clear as water, filled with innocence.

On the other side of the platform stood three more women.

Describing them as “standing” wasn’t quite accurate. One of them had the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a snake. Coiled lazily on the ground, she exuded stunning beauty and a calm demeanor.

Another woman, tall and elegant, wore a crown of branches and leaves in her hair, resembling a queen from classical mythology. Her gaze, however, held boundless sorrow.

The final woman was slightly plump, with an enticing figure, and was surreptitiously eating something.

Charlot glanced at her briefly but dared not linger, for she was eating the crew of a ghost ship.

Yes, utterly Evil God-like.

The palace emitted five-colored light, entangled with another bizarre palace wreathed in black mist. The two floated in an endless void, surrounded by darkness.

The woman holding the boy’s hand shouted, “Charlot Mecklenburg, are you still a man? The women of the house are fighting, and you’re doing nothing, even taking the time to flirt with the maids!”

This statement had so many points of contention that Charlot didn’t even know how to retort.

Moreover, he wasn’t sure if arguing would provoke these divine entities into tearing him apart on the spot.

Even with the faintest guess, it was clear who they were. The woman with the boy was undoubtedly Eumibella, and the boy must be Amon.

The snake-tailed woman was clearly the Sea Serpent Queen Posugi, the tall woman with the crown was the Ancient Gomodoro Tree, and the plump one devouring the ghost ship crew...

She could only be the Whale King!

What was this Evil God gathering?

Pointing to the palace outside, entangled with the Radiant Holy Kingdom, Eumibella declared, “You should act like a man, fight for us, protect us, not hide behind our backs!”

This was beyond absurd.

Charlot couldn’t help but retort, “You want me to fight? Isn’t that just sending me to my death?”

Eumibella shouted, “Coward! Afraid of dying!”

“How did I end up with such a man?”

Charlot thought to himself, “Dear Evil Goddess, you’re way too deep into character.”

He suddenly remembered Amon’s claim that Eumibella was pregnant. He glanced at her belly for confirmation.

The time must still be early; her abdomen was flat, showing no signs yet.

Enraged, Eumibella roared, “You’re not only timid and unwilling to fight, but you’re also thinking about that?!”

Charlot finally lost his patience and shouted, “Damn it! Fine, I’ll fight! Just let me out!”

As soon as these words left his mouth, his body began to float, and he was expelled from the “palace.”

Charlot nearly lost his soul as he screamed, “Teacher Juno! Save me!”

There was no response. Perhaps Juno Arthur’s perception was blocked, and she hadn’t noticed what was happening to him.

A massive ghost ship emerged before him, tearing through the void and heading straight for him. Charlot reached out, pulling a chain from his arm. With a flick, it transformed into a flaming, smoke-shrouded Knight’s Lance.

This was the Blood Rhinoceros’ second form, imbued with the power of the Flame Evil God Anururu.

Bathed in Blood Glory, Charlot experimented with several techniques before settling on Adonis Clan’s Bloodflame Aura, as it best harmonized with the Flame Evil God’s power.

He charged headlong into the approaching ghost ship. Though it radiated a fearsome aura, its hull was not sturdy enough to withstand a blow from a Saint-tier weapon. Charlot’s lance pierced through the ship, shattering everything in its path. By the time he had torn through from bow to stern, the ship exploded with a deafening boom. The resulting black mist was promptly devoured by the Radiant Holy Kingdom.

Before Charlot could take a closer look, three more ghost ships appeared around him. As he thrust his lance at one, a rapier blocked the strike.

A man cloaked in black mist leaped from the ghost ship, offering a graceful imperial salute before lunging with his sword.

After exchanging seven or eight moves, Charlot was shocked to find this ghost ship crewman to be Saint-tier. However, the man’s intelligence had faded with his death, and his strength was significantly diminished. Charlot was able to hold his ground.

After a dozen moves, a pure white feather shot through the man’s chest. Charlot seized the opportunity to land a follow-up blow, scattering the Saint-tier ghost crewman into black mist.

He glanced back to see the mist absorbed by the Radiant Holy Kingdom before leaping onto the next ghost ship.

Charlot still didn’t fully understand why he had appeared here, but if he had to fight, then fight he would!
