Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Chapter 265

Volume 3 - Chapter 24: A Thief for Himself, A Bandit for the World - Part 1

Beyond Cangya City in Liang Province, hundreds of miles away...

A violent tremor echoed across the land as two streaks of crimson and azure light clashed, their powers colliding fiercely. The reverberations shook the ground, and the residual heat from their battle shattered stones and ignited the forest, setting it ablaze with roaring flames.

"Boom!"

A tower-shaped azure light descended like a crushing weight, aiming directly at Li Tiangang's head.

Li Tiangang's eyes shone with a cold, lightning-like brilliance as he swiftly swung the Divine Blade burning with crimson flames. A wave of divine might rippled outward, and with a resonant clang, the azure light tower was deflected.

Even so, the impact forced Li Tiangang to take several steps back. His aura surged as he roared, "Order of All Things, Fire, come forth!"

From the void, divine fire materialized, transforming into a fiery dragon that pursued the azure figure with unrelenting ferocity.

The azure figure retreated rapidly but suddenly vanished just as the fiery dragon was about to strike.

Before Li Tiangang could react, a palm pressed against the divine armor on his chest, a burst of power erupting with a loud "Boom!" that sent him flying into a nearby mountain peak.

Li Tiangang’s blood churned as he struggled free from the rubble, his face dark with anger.

"So, the rumors are true. Bu Liuxing, the Bandit Saint, is as elusive as the wind. Even those at the Absolute Technique Stage struggle to keep up with his movements."

“You’re lucky I was occupied escorting Hao'er to Tianmen Pass back then. Otherwise, when you were still at the Three Immortals Realm, I would have beaten you to a pulp!”

Feng Boping’s figure emerged in the distance. With a casual wave, the azure light tower reappeared, suppressing and locking the fiery dragon in place. His voice was calm as he replied, "Yet here you are now, lamenting your missed opportunity."

Currently, Li Tiangang had reached the Fourth Pillar Dao Heart Realm. As the True Dragon of the Li Family, while his martial talent might not match that of Li Junye, it was still considered first-class among the nine brothers. Outside the Divine General Mansion, he would undoubtedly be regarded as a peerless prodigy.

Considering Li Tiangang's notable contributions, Feng Boping had refrained from using his full strength, intending only to teach him a lesson.

"Unfortunately, you'll never get that chance again!"

Li Tiangang’s eyes grew colder as he adjusted his grip on the Divine Blade. He stepped forward, his momentum escalating with every stride. In nine rapid steps, his aura surged to its peak, reaching a power level comparable to the Reverse Fate Realm.

Feng Boping’s expression darkened. "Do you really want to go all out? Then allow me to discipline you on behalf of your elders!"

“You’re not worthy!”

Li Tiangang roared, swinging the Divine Blade in a furious slash. The void seemed to ignite as the scorching heat from the blade caused the earth below to wither and combust over hundreds of meters.

Under the pull of Dao Rhythms, the blade's light reached Feng Boping in an instant.

However, Feng Boping's figure disappeared abruptly, evading the Dao Rhythms’ lock-on entirely. Li Tiangang’s expression shifted in alarm.

"Boom!"

A flash of azure light appeared behind Li Tiangang, moving like a ghost. Feng Boping’s Heaven and Earth Unbounded Technique, which he had personally developed, was displayed to perfection. He was just a step away from using this movement technique to ascend to the Absolute Technique Stage.

Feng Boping’s palm struck out, aiming for Li Tiangang’s back. But at that moment, a fiery light suddenly burst forth as if an eye had opened on Li Tiangang's back. The flame condensed into the Great Yan Luo Hand, meeting Feng Boping's strike head-on.

Caught off guard, Feng Boping's face shifted as he staggered back. He vanished once again, reappearing two or three miles away.

His hand, now charred black, oozed blood as the extreme heat of the Great Yan Luo Hand scorched his veins, burning its way into his very core. The pain radiated through his entire body like scalding water.

“Hah! A lifetime of stealing has taught you nothing. So what if your cultivation is higher than mine?”

Seeing his opponent injured, Li Tiangang sneered. "I’ve fought countless battles. When it comes to killing experience, you’re out of your depth!"

Feng Boping glanced at his blackened hand before locking his gaze on Li Tiangang. "Then let’s test that experience again."

The wind around him surged as his robes billowed. In the blink of an eye, he vanished once more.

Li Tiangang’s pupils contracted as he scanned his surroundings, unable to detect Feng Boping’s presence.

A sudden whooshing sound came from behind him.

He smirked coldly as flames gathered on his back. Yet the sound disappeared, only to reappear from his side.

Li Tiangang’s expression remained unchanged. He had anticipated the feint; after all, Feng Boping wouldn’t be foolish enough to repeat the same mistake after his earlier failure.

The flames on his back were merely a decoy. His energy circulated throughout his body, ready to strike. As the sound came from the side, he unleashed his strength and struck out with the Great Yan Luo Hand.

"Boom!"

A tremendous force struck him from behind, penetrating through his armor and sending sharp, dagger-like energy into his back. Even with the protection of his battle armor, the impact left his spine feeling as if it had been slashed.

Li Tiangang stumbled forward, spinning around to strike back with a furious palm.

But Feng Boping had already vanished. At the same time, another sharp force struck him from the front, sending him flying once more. Blood sprayed from his mouth as his body plummeted into the ravine below.

Moments later, he emerged from the river at the base of the ravine, his armor steaming with divine flames. His furious gaze swept across the area.

Atop a tree branch, he spotted Feng Boping’s calm figure standing on a single leaf.

“This is your so-called killing experience?” Feng Boping smirked. “When it comes to understanding the human heart, I’ve stolen from countless sects and sacred grounds without ever failing. What makes you think you’re any match for me?”

Li Tiangang’s eyes burned with divine fire as he roared, "You’re courting death!"

He charged forward again, his body erupting with flames as he closed the distance in an instant...

...

In the distance, a dragon’s roar echoed as a golden sword light streaked across the sky.

With a deafening "Boom!" the sword light struck against the Divine Blade, scattering sparks in all directions.

Li Tiangang turned his head to see the arrival of Li Hao’s dark-side incarnation. His fury boiled over, and his brows furrowed tightly.

"You beast! Do you dare assist this wretched thief in attacking your father?!"

The dark-side Li Hao remained expressionless, his icy gaze fixed on Li Tiangang. His aura surged as he wielded the divine sword, locking onto his target and waiting for an opening to strike.

“Hao’er, return at once!”

Feng Boping’s face changed upon seeing Li Hao’s arrival. His voice, usually composed, carried a tinge of urgency.

The dark-side Li Hao shook his head slightly. "I can’t let you face this intruder alone."

Li Tiangang burst into laughter at these words. "Intruder? What a fine joke!"

As he spoke, the flames on his body flared even brighter, making him resemble a deity of fire. He took deliberate steps toward Li Hao, his voice cold and disdainful.

"I’ve tried again and again to be kind to you. I’ve tried to make amends. But you’ve disappointed me every single time! Truly, you are nothing but a disappointment!"

Feng Boping’s expression darkened as he stepped forward, shouting, "Li Tiangang! What are you trying to do? Are you planning to destroy Li Hao’s incarnation? If his incarnation suffers catastrophic damage and impacts his true body, you’ll regret it!"

Li Tiangang hesitated for a moment. His blazing anger faltered, and his steps came to a halt.

His face twisted with frustration as the flames around him roiled uncontrollably. But in the end, he managed to suppress his fury.

Martial Dao incarnations came in many forms. Some lived independently but were far weaker than their original bodies. When reintegrated, their memories could merge with their true bodies.

Others shared a direct connection with their true bodies, serving as lookouts. Some were bound by bloodlines, affecting each other’s states constantly.
