Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Chapter 241

Volume 3 - Chapter 10: Inheriting the True Dragon - Part 1

“Perhaps not just that!”

Li Tianzong’s sharp eyes, seasoned and insightful, noticed that Li Hao exuded an effortless aura of mastery, a feat far beyond the capability of the Zhoutian Realm.

“Not just that?”

Chen Hefang froze in disbelief, staring at the boy on the stage—Li Hao, a mere seven-year-old child!

At this moment, Li Hao easily defeated the radiant Li Junye, showcasing a power that silenced the entire martial arena.

Eldest brother Li Xingbei and the others looked at their younger sibling in astonishment. None of them had anticipated that he possessed such a terrifying strength. They had thought Li Junye was already ferocious enough, but who could have imagined that the speed of Tenth Brother’s rise in cultivation would outpace even Ninth Brother in an even more exaggerated manner!

“In just one year of training, he’s surpassed what would take us three to four years!”

“Ninth Brother was already overtaken—this is outrageous!”

Everyone was stunned, though they all knew that when Li Hao reached the Foundation Building stage and began Blood-Melting, he had displayed extraordinary talent. The bone-measuring results had revealed a legendary potential. While the current scene was shocking, they quickly recovered from their astonishment.

“Interesting. Let me give it a try too.”

Li Tiangang leapt onto the platform, casually drawing a battle blade as he addressed Li Hao: “Tenth Brother, how about we have a match as well?”

Li Hao frowned slightly but didn’t refuse. He merely nodded lightly.

“Please.”

Li Tiangang, three years older than Li Junye and appearing around twelve, was on the cusp of adolescence. His cultivation had already reached the peak of the Soul Fusion Realm, and his talent was exceptional.

“I’ll hold back my strength,” Li Tiangang said with a cold snort.

Unlike the other brothers, he felt somewhat uneasy when it came to Li Hao. He couldn’t pinpoint why, but he sensed that Tenth Brother treated him differently—more distant, even indifferent. Yet he couldn’t recall ever offending him.

Li Hao said nothing, standing quietly.

Without further ado, Li Tiangang charged forward. Soul Aspect power surged within him, and his blade swept out like a thunderbolt.

Li Hao stood as motionless as before, just as he had against Li Junye, showing no intent to dodge or evade.

When the blade neared, he raised his hand. With two fingers, he caught the blade, stopping it in its tracks.

Li Tiangang froze, staring at Li Hao in shock.

Li Hao twisted his fingers slightly before flicking the blade with a sharp snap. With a resounding clang, the blade slipped from Li Tiangang’s grasp and flew to the ground.

The force reverberated through Li Tiangang’s wrist, forcing him back several steps. He looked at Li Hao in stunned disbelief.

“This kid...”

Li Tianzong’s eyes shone even brighter. That Li Hao could defeat Seventh Brother was surprising enough, but for him to do so with such ease exceeded all expectations. It also filled Li Tianzong with quiet elation—Li Hao was far more formidable than he had imagined!

“How is this possible...”

Li Tiangang recovered, staring blankly at his fallen blade. He had been cultivating for six years, yet he couldn’t match Li Hao’s single year?

He had thought Li Junye’s talent was already akin to a tiger chasing down the older brothers. But now, Tenth Brother was like a storm, catching up in a single year and even surpassing them!

“Tenth Brother’s strength is so incredible, he might already be close to the Spiritual Wandering Realm!”

“Seventh Brother underestimated him and didn’t use his full strength. But even so, Tenth Brother’s performance is too astonishing.”

“To think that he could achieve this in a single year—who would believe it?”

The other Li family scions were all shaken.

Li Xingbei and Li Fengping stood together, their expressions heavy as they exchanged quiet remarks. From Li Hao, they felt an oppressive sense of being relentlessly pursued.

Perhaps in just a few years, this kid would surpass them completely.

“Amazing!”

The illegitimate children of the family were also stunned, staring at the seven-year-old on the stage. At his age, he was one of the youngest on the martial stage, yet he shone the brightest, as if standing invincible on that platform.

“I’ll go!”

Suddenly, another figure jumped up from below—a young boy from the illegitimate line.

His sharp eyes fixed on Li Hao, filled with suspicion that this was some kind of act orchestrated by Li Tianzong’s direct descendants to elevate this young master’s reputation.

Otherwise, how could someone achieve such exaggerations after just a year of training?

“Please,” Li Hao said calmly, refusing no challengers. He intended only to display the strength of the Soul Fusion Realm. After all, reaching that level in a year should already be the limit of what they could accept.

But with his six-stage mastery of the Body Refining Dao, even when suppressing himself to Soul Fusion power, Li Hao’s control and use of strength far exceeded these opponents. Even Spiritual Wandering cultivators would be no match.

This youth, aged fourteen and also at the peak of the Soul Fusion Realm, didn’t hold back. He drew his sword and slashed at Li Hao.

With a loud clash, Li Hao caught the blade effortlessly and, with a simple flick, sent the young man stumbling backward.

The youth, face full of disbelief, did not back down. Instead, he activated his Soul Aspect, a shadowy image materializing behind him. Its ghostly gaze bore down on Li Hao with an oppressive presence—a hallmark of the Soul Fusion Realm.

Yet Li Hao remained indifferent, as if he hadn’t noticed.

The youth merged with his Soul Aspect, his power surging before he roared and struck again with his sword.

Li Hao took a light step back, effortlessly avoiding the blow. Then he raised his hand and pushed, converting force into a gentle yet overwhelming shove. With a resounding thud, the youth and his sword were sent flying off the stage, landing tens of meters away.

The youth hit the ground with a heavy thump and scrambled up in disarray. When he looked at Li Hao, his expression was filled with shock, along with a hint of embarrassment.

Despite going all out, he had still lost to Li Hao, who had only cultivated for a year.

Moreover, he could feel that when he fell off the stage, what seemed like an earth-shattering push from Li Hao had actually landed softly on him. It was clear that Li Hao hadn’t used his full strength or intended to harm him.

The youth’s emotions were complicated. He cupped his hands toward Li Hao in acknowledgment, saying nothing more.

Defeated and utterly convinced, he stepped down.

Li Tianzong, observing the scene, couldn’t help but laugh heartily. His eyes held even more admiration for Li Hao. From that seemingly overpowering palm strike, he saw the mercy of a true strongman.

The world is often unfair. Strong individuals climb against the current to reach the peak, yet most lose their original intentions, their hearts becoming numb and unfeeling.

As the saying goes, “Three years old determines seventy.” Without anyone teaching him, Li Hao naturally displayed the compassion of a strongman. This was innate!

The more Li Tianzong looked at him, the more satisfied he felt. His mood was exceptionally buoyant.

“Remarkable, truly remarkable!”

Li Xingbei and the others, seeing the outcome, couldn’t help but smile. They were genuinely pleased for Li Hao’s success.

However, many of the illegitimate children watching from the sidelines wore conflicted expressions. Their faces alternated between surprise, anger, and jealousy as they watched the direct descendants chatting and laughing among themselves.

One by one, more challengers ascended the stage, intending to humble this prodigious young master of the main line. Yet without exception, all were defeated by Li Hao with ease.

“So strong. At just seven years old, he’s already bested everyone in the family. He’s invincible in the Soul Fusion Realm!”

“This is what it means to be part of the main bloodline—a truly legendary talent!”

The martial arena was abuzz with shock and awe as everyone imprinted the image of the seven-year-old boy’s figure in their minds.

Feeling that he had demonstrated enough, Li Hao turned and leaped off the stage.

“Big Brother, you’re amazing.”

Li Hongzhuang appeared out of nowhere, holding a small red flower. She offered it to Li Hao with a grin. “This is for you.”

Li Hao chuckled and tucked the red flower into her hair instead.

“You wear it—it’ll look better on you.”

He then glanced over at Li Tianzong and his wife, noticing the looks of satisfaction and pleasant surprise on their faces. The warmth of their smiles brought a sense of comfort to his heart.

He smiled back, then sat down on the steps. After a moment’s thought, he decided to push forward even harder...
