The Heaven's Laws Universe Update

What's up with the delays, man?

For the last six months or so, I've been secretly working on extending the Heaven's Laws universe. I've already mentioned that I was considering doing an Avengers-esque mashup with multiple characters. I can tell you now that eventually, I mean years down the line, that will be a reality. I have much of the Heaven's Laws series major events plotted out.

Not a lot of the finer details, which is cause for some of the delay. The cultivation system I'm building needs to fit each series. I'm not a fan of "the world rules change" plot types, so as long as I get the rules/laws established, I should be able to apply them universally.

Sneak Peak

One of the characters I have in mind will fit into the "reincarnated old master" trope. He will eventually meet up with Chao and Huifen in the divine realm and be apart of the main storyline in the Heaven's Laws series. He will have his own series as well, though it will likely be limited to two books or a trilogy.

The main character will be a jaded character always fighting to retain the parts of himself that make him human. He's a big change from my normal young, naive, heroes journey traveling MCs.

The second character will fit into the "trapped in the abyss only to return" trope, and be a part of an extension of Heaven's Laws main plot. He will likely have two to three of his own books.

There's not much written in either series right now, just enough to get the character personality and initial plot layout started, but when considering Chao and Huifen's adventures, I'm also considering these two character's journeys as well. So I'm holding myself back until we're about three or four books into Heaven's Laws where the next character will start to come into play.

Lifestone Update

I've gotten my mind around what I need to do for the overall plot with the three series in mind. That will make the coming chapters, many of them cultivation heavy, a firm foundation for what's to come. There will be a few more chapters this week, but I'm saving most for the next one. Unless there's some family function I'm not thinking about. We're always crazy busy this time of year as many of you are, I'm sure.

Codename Vanguard Audiobook

The current date is set for March 7th. That is subject to change, but I got a question from the audiobook production team just a few days ago, so I can confirm they're getting close to the end.
