Update - Ninja Editing

Hey everyone,

I haven't forgotten about Codename or you guys. I've run into some issues with the editing with Heaven's Laws, which at first seemed typical, but have turned into a problem I can't ignore. Normally, I get a few reviews that mention typos, but this time it's common. I have a few readers that always send me typos after a book's published, and this time it's pretty excessive in comparison to my normal release.

I'm going through the entire book with a couple of beta readers at a frantic pace and updating the kindle version as I go. It's not just a couple of things that were missed, but multiple things per chapter. Missing and misused words, etc.

The good news is that sales are starting to pick up, but that's also why I've dropped everything and I'm editing like a madman.

I'm considering refunding everyone's September pledge just because the same delay keeps popping up. I need to look into what it takes to do this before making any decisions. If there's too much of a negative, not including the money which isn't important, then I might look for another method to reward you guys. As an aside, I'm also going to be out of town a bit in October, which will undoubtedly delay chapters a few weeks from now as well. I'll play it by ear. I know there's a lot of you that simply pledge to show your support, so know that I don't use Patreon because of the money, as nice as a little bonus might be. It's primarily because the comments and likes help keep me motivated as I write. I don't depend on this Patreon money for anything, so there's no reason for you to feel bad if I do this.

In the end, I don't know how long it's going to take me to get everything up to date. The editing process for this book has been a nightmare that I thought had already ended. I was wrong. Hehe. Note: I know it feels like I'm bashing the editor, which I am to a certain extent, but at the same time, I have to acknowledge she did a lot of good work. The constant delay and the missing of a number of typos have ended up the real problems.

Update: I've frozen October's payments. I'll still be uploading content once the editing issue is taken care of, but with my vacation in the middle of the month, I know it's going to split things up. Just enjoy things as they come up and by the end of October, all of the craziness should be over.
