New Approach and More Transparency
Added 2019-12-10 04:03:48 +0000 UTCThroughout the year I have tried to get back to my proper schedule of Glass of Water every two weeks and In A Minute every week. This has been something I have proven unable to do, despite my best efforts.
Burnout, recovery from traumatic experiences, and more out-of-work responsibilities have resulted in me being less able to focus and less able to keep myself on-task. Things like the Work Streams help, but even those can't be done very often.
So to that end I've opted to abandon the schedule and deadline-based approach to creating content that saw me splitting my time between multiple projects to stay on schedule and focus on a project-based approach.
I'll have an agenda of two or three projects that won't change until they're done. I'll only ever be working on one of these at a time and move through them in sequence with them being released as they get finished. This may result in slow months at times, and content-rich months in others.
In exchange for less guarantee of release, I've opted to be more transparent about what I'm working on and it's status. In the coming weeks I'm going to put together a template for regular progress updates and make it available to everyone, Patrons and Non-Patrons alike. I will also be more open to letting Patrons at the Legacy Level and higher decide the next Glass of Water and perhaps other series later on, as I always have several ideas in my head for Glass of Water and letting the audience choose helps to keep me on task.
I apologize for taking so long to make this decision, not being able to stick to my schedule has wounded my pride and I didn't want to admit I just couldn't do it anymore. I hope this new approach is acceptable for you.
Thank you for your support. It truly means the world to me.
