Proud to announce our new series, launching on RoyalRoad this weekend: Shut Up and Heal Me!

Book 1: My Ex-Girlfriend's the Tank?!

As you may tell from the title, this one's a LitRPG. Our goal is to have two active series going at a time, and with the conclusion of Not My First (Space) Rodeo, we're ready to launch a project we've had in the works for a little while. As current or former subscribers we wanted you to hear first.

As a sampler, we're making available for free the first twenty chapters in epub or pdf format. The first ten will go up on RoyalRoad over the weekend, then the next ten on Patreon, followed by a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule, but as fans we wanted you to have a chance to dive in and binge 50,000 words of story in one sitting. That'll give you an idea if it's your cup of tea or not!

More importantly, what's this one about?

Rick's a grad-school flunkout, an astronaut trainee washout, and a pro gamer banned for cheating in a high-stakes tournament. Heck, even his ex-girlfriend couldn't stand to be on the same planet as him. But when that same girlfriend's entire Mars expedition is the first to get integrated into the System by an alien probe, Rick gets swept up by government and corporate figures desperate to find answers.

Launched on a one-way mission to Mars, he and his team get intercepted by the aliens and brought bodily into their intergalactic gameworld. Talk about MASSIVELY multiplayer. Now Rick must find the lost astronauts, unravel ancient alien secrets, and try to avoid being made into an NCP.
