CONTEXT:
We're way later in the story. Carter and Scott share a hotel room. (This happens often, cause the team often stays overnight at the away game places). They pushed their beds together cause they already have a history of (not romantic) sexual contact, that increased in intensity over some time (How it started is for another time). So far, they never kissed, and the contact was always "one-directional". This means Scott "watched" or "helped" but wouldn't let Carter touch him or even undress. Several reasons (and hypocrisy, lol)
Now, the first time, things go a bit differently.
What is CRUSH3D!! CRUMBLES?
Tl;dr/short:
"crumbles" is my scene planning scrapbook (in storyboard form); only that you can already see it!
long:
Crumbles was a spontaneous idea, cause I realized something:
In good hyperfocus phases, I can spit out several pages of rough storyboards kinda quickly. This is what is the most fun and important to me when making comics, and I even think that the context and setting of a scene can make smut as hot as great anatomy ... (maybe??)
Anyway, it generally frustrates me that I feel like not getting to my ideas for scenes of the comic because rendering of the final pages takes me soooo long. And then I end up forgetting them, cause I don't WANT to write them down differently than in storyboard form.
So I thought, I will do something that has none of the stuff that makes it paralyzing to me: no lettering, no backgrounds, no good artwork, no formatting, etc, haha. But I still hope I can make it readable enough for you guys to be able to tell what's going on!
Also, what takes the most planning and time is obviously the establishing of the scene and the way to getting there through hundreds of other pages, and looking out for the exact right time for a scene.
With crumbles I skip all of the "hard parts" as they will simply come like ... random crumbles, eventually forming the outline of a big cake.
But not in the right order yet, not complete, but they will serve to me as notes. Whenever I have an idea about scenes that are still far away in the comic. Or might never happen.
And because they have no built-up, things will obviously be confusing to you, but I will give a tiny bit of context (like above) before every crumble episode. Also, chances are high that I myself don't know where the fuck scenes are supposed to go and am figuring shit out as I go, lmao. So, hopefully, not all of that work is for nothing, and the storyboards can actually be used in some way for later.
