2023-06-12 17:43:13 +0000 UTCi also love his autistic coding, other people have pointed it out before and it makes me really happy (+ what i meant by "explaining with facts" was that he's described what he saw with all the details that make carter seem unwell and in a different state than normal and explained how that informed his judgement and he didn't leave room for overthinking and interpretation which is a big part of having BPD/trauma) anygay, i like how he was written and i love this comic

2023-06-12 17:28:36 +0000 UTCi asbolutely adore Reuben's character, he's so honest and just, like, a nice and decent person he doesn't get overly involved i.e intrusive or pushy but he's still clear and direct and i love how he explains things with facts to make sense and be understood but also clearly shows that he cares and shows his emotions without being overbearing, that's what i meant to say :D i also love their conversation and dynamic although i'm looking forward to when they become closer and can talk more and understand each other better and maybe support e/o too! anygay, i love reuben aaaah he's probably my favorite character tied with Carter cuz i adore him too but we hadn't gotten a lot of Reuben lately so it felt refreshing to see him in this chapter <3

I love it and i'd bet so is Carter. Also the fact that he wasn’t afraid (?) and embarrassed to hold carter's hand was really helpful and important for carter's mental health. We could see the background lightening the moment they're holding hands.

He's an excellent contrast to Scott, whose outside matches his inside so much that he bleeds when nervous. Thanks for the 3 updates so close together, best of luck on your Dokomi prep!

Between him and Lee, he strikes me as the manner, more reactionary one. But I don't think that's really the worst case scenario. Because as much as Matt would try to hurt Carter, he'd be nowhere near as effective at it as what Lee would be able to do without even trying. Lee would post it online, he would vlog about it, Carter's secret would be out to EVERYONE and that would be way more psychologically damaging to him. Ofc if either one of these bullies found it, the other would probably discover in short order, but still, I think Lee's actions are the ones to really worry about here. Conversely, what's the *best* that could happen? Maybe Scott or quiet, preceptive Popeye finds it and returns it to carter without a peep. Better yet, maybe Carter notices it's gone, goes looking for it, and actually finds it himself before anyone else does.

Jedes Update ist einfach grandios und es lohnt sich immer, da kann man mal darauf warten :) Mir ist das Herz in die Hose gerutscht als Carter das Foto verloren hat und ich ahne nur schreckliches. Eigentlich ist Scott mit einer meiner liebsten Charaktere aus der Story, aber er kann halt echt manchmal ein Idiot sein. Armer Carter und good guy Reuben hat erstmal den Abend gerettet :)
