Added 2022-07-01 11:15:50 +0000 UTCWhen this chapter is completed in a few scenes, I will try to switch to a consistent weekly Patreon schedule of around 4 pages. So it is not only weeks ahead of public 3-pages-updates but also collecting one page per week as an extra buffer.
Then you know when to expect new pages and I can actualy be like "oh, I achieved my goal for the week?? I can rest a day" or something ....
but for the rest of the chapter I'll be dumping whatever set of pages is done for now :-D

Is this the same coach that convinced him that he could change the game? I'll have to go back and check. But if Carter does come to process that in a healthier way, it may muddle his own motivation. Perhaps, recognizing that, he may even specifically supressing any attempt to process it specifically so that he can stay motivated in hockey. From this flashbsck, and Carter's defensive reaction, it seems that whatever happened between them hasn't come to light yet? That could be a ticking time bomb, as if there weren't already enough of those in the comic. I kinda like how many bombs YAA is just actively arming right in front of us.

2022-07-01 11:39:09 +0000 UTCOooh, I really love the panel at the top of the second page. Carter caught between the past and the present, fear and understanding, danger and safety. Usually flooding the page with color, Carter now washed out and gray. Great example of how to show not just tell!
