Goodie Mail 2020 Overview Post

HELLO DEERS, especially ELKS! It's time for me to work on your goodie mails! 

What I need you to do❓

❗Please check your address that is saved in your settings and correct it if needed❗ to your valid and current one, so the mail can reach you! Please do that until December 27th‼️ THANKS! 🤍

Because I will download the table with all the addresses on the 28th of December, which I will use to see who's eligible for the mail and will use to copy addresses and keep my overview. So you may delete your pledge before January 1st if you wanna stop being on the Elk tier and then won't be billed in the new year! 

Who's eligible❓

Everyone who's on the Elk tier when I download the list and was there for 8 months in 2020, (and when you weren't a scammer and your card got declined or something XDDD),  you should have total lifetime support of over 50$ and should receive the physical reward plus shipping! There are 170 people and I will order exactly 200 pieces of every product, so I can make 200 packs. So I have some spare packs, for people who slipped through the cracks, like when you for example deleted your pledge for only a month and the counting is off or something. Please understand, that I will deal with your specific case after I finished everyone else, but I am sure we can find everyone in some list U3U

When will the mails go out❓

I wanted the letters to go out in January 2021 and I'm doing my best now, that this stays as close as possible to that plan. But you know how the COVID-19 situation in the world is right now, and I'm a bit anxious about the companies and shipping, of my single products to me and also the mails to you later. I fear that everything will take longer than expected. Please bear with me, we will see how it all works out W__Wv (thanks for your patience in advance!)

That's why I had the idea to make an overview post which I will edit after any progress I made! So you can have a look here, whenever you want, and see how far I am with anything, because I'll be very busy in some phases with this, and answering additional questions about it can stress me out a bit! >_<

Calculations: 

Doing the math what merch is in the budget to give you back a big part of your investment, where I can order what, and deciding for the products I can do for you

Illustrations: 

Making the illustrations for the products, doing the print files, sending them out to the producers, and paying for them. I will start with the stuff that takes the longest to arrive and end with the products, that will be here quicker and I estimate to work on the illustrations until 2021 starts (wanna take my time for them and make them pretty u3u)

Status January 14: Everything is finished and at the printer!

Products: 

I can only start packing everything when all products arrived from the printers, so here you can see how many already arrived at my home and are ready to go.

Status January 21: Everything arrived! I'm starting to pack your mails now ;3;9!

Packing:

Making sure, that everyone has one of each product in their package and wrapping the stuff with some love. This takes a while for around 200 mails.

Labeling: 

This is another time-consuming step because I need to copy all the addresses from the Patreon list into the post websites' (pain in the ass) form and print them out and sign them. Usually, I will go through the list from top to bottom, which is alphabetical and also separate them into inside-Germany, inside-Europe and overseas sending. 

Add-on: I know that there are a few people who did not receive last year's mail for different reasons. I'm very sorry for that, please have a bit more patience, I will contact you guys in the time after I sent out all the illustrations to the printers, so we can make sure, that you are the firsts to get the new mail, combined with the old one!

Shipping: 

This is the easiest step because I just need to throw them in mailboxes by then, but I can only fit like 30 in all the mailboxes in my area in a day. So this will also be made in a few steps. Once your mail left my house, you will get an e-mail, notifying you about this, so you will know then for sure, that your's is on the way!
