SweetCanvas - Now Published by JAST!

Hello everyone!

I know I've been really inactive for... basically the whole of 2025 so far, but I'm back now (for real this time)! I had been going through some stuff and still kinda am, but I think I'll be able to put those things behind me soon, ideally.

But enough about that! As you can tell from the title, the big announcement today (which I had actually already made in several places, including the Discord, but never publicly) is that SweetCanvas is now published by JASTUSA, the publisher behind things like Fruits of Grisaia, Full Metal Daemon Muramasa and Dramatical Murder, among others!

This means that, alongside an investment in the project, they'll also be assisting along the way with things like advertising/promotion, merchandise, etc.

That means that I'll be able to focus in more on just making SweetCanvas the absolute best that it can be!

Of course, I'll still need everyone's support along the way, so seriously. thank you so much to everyone who bothered to stick around even while I was struggling to post things not just here but pretty much anywhere for the past few months, I sincerely appreciate you.

I'll be posting a lot more now that I'm grinding through the CGs I need for the demo, that I'll ideally be able to release this month, so there won't be a lack of posts at the very least, and hopefully some of those will be things that you all will like.

On that subject, since JAST is a nsfw publisher, there will be an added element of nsfw content alongside the game now, although the game itself will still hold true to my original vision- Which wasn't entirely sfw to begin with, if that wasn't obvious, but has no straight up explicit sex scenes present.

So yeah, if you're the kind of person who has been waiting for literally like seven whole years for me to get back into NSFW art, I will be doing it again, as a compromise with my publisher, ONE LAST TIME.

Put that in big text because I know you guys are out there. I get so many comments and DMs all the time from people asking still and it's been ages now. So yeah, if that's interesting to you and you can afford it, I'd appreciate it if you'd pledge even just a dollar.

For everyone who isn't interested in that, I won't be posting any of it in the immediate future, and whenever I do, I'll be making a new in-between tier for it so that the people who want to see it can, and the people who don't won't have to.

Lastly, and you can ignore this if you want since it's really not that important, but I'm currently getting engagement throttled on twitter since I haven't posted anything consistently in 500 years, so if you wanted to, if you could like and share the Tweet I made about this, that would be much appreciated.
