Ecchi Sensei Week 1 - Status Report No. 6:

Dear friends!

As I'm sure you know, a few days ago the Alpha version of Ecchi Sensei Week 1 got released, and like I announced, there are going to be status reports until Week 1 Final is out.

Personally I like the idea of maximal transparency and after discussing it with Latecomer there might be status reports for future updates after Week 1, too.

Alright, let's cut to the chase....

We worked hard on the Alpha release of Week 1 and had to keep working on it after the release because some nasty bugs sneaked in there.

But of course work on the Beta has been done, too.

Especially on new graphics for:

❀ Ecchi Calendar

❀ Characters

Whether the character screen is already going to be available in the Beta is unclear so far because the necessary scripting workload is overwhelmingly high. Merely creating the graphics took more than 48 hours.

The Ecchi Calendar is definitely going to be available in the beta. On top of that you'll get more choices in the "Design" screen - in the Alpha you were only able to change the textbox style, in the Beta you are able to change the text color and font.

The Ecchi Calendar is also a huge project because it is a real calendar that you can use to get info on events, dates, and other things.

Let's talk about the the character database real quick.

Almost all characters can be found there, nicely grouped in different categories. If you click on a person you see an image of them. If you click ont he image, you get lots of extra info:

On top of that there is also a switcher (next to "Back") that makes the image change completely:

Last but not least, some quick info on the character routes:

Characters in the game (will) have different character routes that mostly don't have an influence on the main plot.

In that menu, you can freely switch between individual character routes:
