(Just a heads up, I think our Paramount Plus detected our Ad Blocker ((even though we pay for P+)) and stopped our movie halfway. Turning Ad Blocker Off fixed it. Pretty sure I got the sync fixed after stitching it back together but fair warning for you guys so your flick doesn't get interrupted.)
We just had to see how this sequel went down after remembering how odd the first one was. It's a little bit better than the first one but still, its tough watchin old man Jim tryna Carry this one. Enjoy!

I don't remember how bad the first sonic movie was but I can't see how it could be worse than this. The amount of pop culture generic audience appeal cringe in this is unreal... The movie is like maybe a 4 or 5 out of 10 with sonic on screen, then it drops deep into the negatives as soon as he isn't on screen. Woof boys, I'm almost mad at you for getting me to watch this.

2025-01-18 03:05:57 +0000 UTCthis is the best video game movie next to the mario movie,I grew up playing sonic games and also the new Sonic 3 movie is awesome and it focuses on one plot only full focus on the sonic characters and less human stuff.Sonic 06 is a decent guilty pleasure that inspired memes,Sonic heroes is underrated,Sonic frontiers and shadow generations and Sonic adventure 2 is great,Jim carrey is having fun with this Gen Z script he is given with related cringe stuff,it didn’t actually bother me since it’s a kids movie but yea it is better than the first one which I liked,the voice of tails and knuckles are great,the ending of this movie is like an avengers infinity war stuff and it feels just like the games,the easter eggs and references is what the fans wanted,the wedding scene is hilarious like a madea/wedding crashers when yolanda gets crazy lol I give this movie an 8 and Sonic 3 a 9 and also The new Mario movie an 8,the knuckles show is decent but knuckles is barely in it it has a bunch of boomer references and more human characters and the action is decent but short I gave that show a 7
