2021-06-23 11:55:25 +0000 UTCIn regards to the hypnosis talk, I had a talk with my dad who was a volunteer during a stage show and he said it was legit. No backstage $20 spots to play along or anything like that. He was put into a trance and then woke up 2 hours later feeling like he took a long nap with no memories of what happened during the show (which was all the stereotypical "now you're a chicken" type of comedy bits). He said it was kind of like when you go for a long drive and kinda 'zone out of it' until you get to your destination. I don't know how/why it works, but I believe it's a real thing at the very least.
