With this update, we’ve officially wrapped up Season 1 — something 99% of you already knew. But what you might not know is how much time we spent polishing the experience. Over the past couple of months, we’ve been working closely with our incredible community and talented translators to localize the game into several new languages to whom we are extremely greatful.

That process took its toll. Both Sin and I (Jim) pushed hard, and frankly, we burned ourselves out. Not releasing regular updates meant less revenue, but we invested heavily in crafting a satisfying, high-quality ending for the season + implementing all the new features + reworking past scenes + working on marketing for the Steam release.

If you’re a dedicated fan, we absolutely recommend replaying the game from the beginning — it’s worth it. Still, due to popular demand, we’ve added a Patreon-only skip function so you can jump straight to the new/end content if you prefer.

Our Steam launch went well, and we’re happy with how it performed. If you've been following us, you know every dollar we earn from Patreon goes straight back into making the game better so that Steam launch was extremely crucial for us as we made 0 to date. We’ve grown the team significantly for Season 2. Expect major upgrades across the board: from renders and animation to writing and design. We're now working with seasoned professionals and passionate part-timers like TM, Dolan, Tear, and Danjuro, who are helping both in-game and behind the scenes.

One bitter pill: our Steam review score has taken some hits, mostly from trolls. If you want to truly support us and help — buy the game on Steam and leave a review. It makes a real difference.

Thanks for being with us on this journey. Season 2 is going to blow Season 1 out of the water.
