Grand Titan Concept
Added 2025-10-10 08:51:34 +0000 UTCWith the release of Big Red 40tech's reveal and deep dive video, here's my design sketch for the Grand Titan that went into it.
You guys asked pretty regularly when we'll be getting one of these, now you can thank Big Red for twisting Randall Bills arm about it and making it happen. He wanted his video art to be based on an official design, so we got to work.
So far I'd say people have received it pretty well, insofar as I mostly see complains about the head not being a Hasbro lawsuit bait clone of Optimus :D
Sorry guys, we just wont do that. Instead I leaned it into more mecha head styles for something a little more scifi elegant mecha head than most Battletech designs get.
The body updates were a lot more straight forward, trying to keep a balance of chunk while also selling this is a 100ton mech that's gone heavy on the speed. I also knew people would be demanding those big punching fists.
How'd you think I did on the Titan? It is good? Or is it Optimus or bust?

Be it through IWM or CGL, I'm sure it'll be hit eventually. It has some internal fans.

2025-10-10 19:55:26 +0000 UTCI absolutely LOVE this version, and I'm not sure why so many people are stuck on "please draw the unnecessary attention of a corporation that hires Pinkertons to beat the crap out of loyal customers over a mistake THEY made, we miss the 2 decades where the fandom was in a coma after multiple lawsuits over mech designs".
