Comstar Battle Level II Renders

Here's a big pack where every mech really needed a visual update to be worth looking at as a group. I believe a few of you have said you had no interest in this set until you saw how the designs came out :)
And certainly, they're all pretty appealing now, with the visuals to go with their stat lines.

Crockett and Crab designed by me, Flashman by Giorgio Espinos, Guillotine by Alan, with the Lancelot and Mongoose by Bishop.
-Crockett and Lancelott sculpts by Chris Lowrey.
-Flashman, Guillotine, Crab, and Mongoose by Alan Blackwell.

Yeah by these final ones the engineering team was hitting it hard.

Just wanted to say, these look really good in plastic, based on the Kickstarter update photos. I'm especially excited about the Crab.

It already looked great in this picture, and you were right that it looks even better in the turntable! Definitely in my top 5, most improved mechs.

The Crockett was definitely one of my favorite ones to work on this kickstarter. While it's true that the design needed to get a bit of a facelift to actually have it work in 3D, there are plenty of elements from the original design that we were able to work into it that still makes it feel distinctly like the Crockett. I think a lot of the concern that it didn't look anything like a Crockett will be relieved once we release the turntable for the 'Mech, as it still shares a fairly distinct silhouette and a lot of those key details that you might look for in a Crockett made it into this interpretation still there. Just brought into a bit better cohesion with one another.

This is a funny one. There are only two mechs in it that I have any affection for (Crab and Mongoose), so I didn't actually order any but will absolutely be looking to pick up singles somewhere. The sculpts are all fantastic, it's just that most of the mechs aren't anything I have fond memories of from back in the day.

The final model of the Crockett looks very nice. I was worried after the concept that the shoulder were going to be too toned down, but this looks very distinctive without being overbearing. Goes to show that you guys obviously know what you are doing better than me.

These are delightful.

The Crocket looks amazing and I'm really digging the redesigned Guillotine

Nyxus

Oh man that Guillotine! I have been so excited waiting for it.

The Guillotine and Crabbe are two of my favourite 'Mechs. You've done great work with both of them, and the entire II as a whole. The Crockett redesign is a touch radical, but also very much needed
