IS Direct Fire Renders

With the Orion locked in today, it's time to push out these full Lance renders.
I think this is a must-buy lance for a lot of people, but at this point is seems every single mech here has some sort of drama surrounding it haha.
I hope you like it overall.

Designs and Marauder II sculpt by me.
Atlas and Crusader sculpts by Alan Blackwell.
Orion sculpt by Dale Eadeh.

Enjoy!

I really like the final Orion cockpit. Feels much more like a modern version of the older art Orion cockpit.

Crusader and Orion are stellar. Cannot wait!

-Crusader is insanely good... wish I didn't hate the ol "Roman Candles" so much in actual use, lol. 9/10 -Orion... miss the old head. A lot. Just dunno why the PTBs think this looks better. Hope IWM requests a V/VA version so I can have a non gimp-arm version. Otherwise, very nice. 7/10 as is, with V/VA right arm 8/10 (with old head add a solid pt to each category) -Atlas.. Solid. WIsh the MLs were on top of the forearms, but, meh. 7.5/10 -MAD II.... Well, you got your boy in. So ... just gonna leave it at that, to stay on the positives.

You guys are really knocking it out of the park. The Atlas and Orion are standouts for me, but all are good.

I should have even more to add over the next week or two, so hold out a little longer :)

Anthony Scroggins

time for a new group shot of finished mechs so I can update my desktop picture. ;)

The MAD II is a bit like a child. Maybe its not perfectly as you imagined it, but youll love it nonetheless. (And then you get another 4 childs only to have one more of this special type).

Crowdox should have been fairly clear about what is wave one and two. Sadly we can't easily add more finished packs into the delayed production window because beyond these models there's a TON of graphic design work that needs to be done like pilot cards, AS mech cards, packaging, etc. All that graphic work can't start until the models are done because they use our models as reference. Would otherwise indeed be nice to add the several more packs we recently finished to the first wave.

Anthony Scroggins

Love them . (I think the biggest "drama" issue is the ON1 head ... not a fan myself, but I'm just happy to have a new version of the Iconic 'mech.) I would have also preferred that a more widely distributed (according to lore) 'mech was in there rather than the MAD-II ... if it had been something as common as the others, I might have picked up three of these. Do you know yet which 'mechs will make Wave 1?

Joe M Emmert

All are very cool, if that's a good word! Perhaps the least I like the Mad II, just because it's too wide, with it's arms not in the front, but think you've done it in various ways before you stopped with this version. The Orions' canopy reminds of some truck, liked the rounded one more, yet as above. Obviously, they'd look so pretty in 6mm. Ah, my precious mini robots :)

The polls on here were to see what community opinion was and help hone in on a changed look, but ultimately the final look was a unique management decision that I honoured. We knew fully that patrons favored the original head.

Anthony Scroggins

I love the crud. For me this is gonna be a must buy 2 Lance.

Stewart Spencer

Wait... When did you revert the Orion to the tiny central window slither? I thought the survey said to widen it a bit?

Phil

I really do like what you've done with the Marauder II; I think it makes it more unique as it's own mech design and not just a big Marauder with Fins on its back like the old Unseen model.
