Behemoth Concept Sketch

-Proportioned it's legs and barrels a little more reasonably.
-Fixed the weapons load to match the stats without removing the giant gun pod.
-Slightly more angled and detailed surfaces while keeping the main curves.

And now you can zip it on badgering about the Behemoth, here it is haha!

The odd unseen nature of this mech (taken with the rest but definitely an original design) causing rarity, and it also being a solid design who's main shapes didn't do much wrong, made me intent on not changing this one too much.

The Stone Rhino (Behemoth) was the refresh I was the most worried about. Well done, sir! I am relieved and VERY EXCITED to get my hands on this ‘Mech! Thank you for staying true to the original lines of the torso and arms.

So basically we have the unseen Behemoth, but with the correct number of gauss rifles. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Kanrei13

My god....it's perfect.

There's my Big Beautiful Baby that I've Been waiting for She's a must have!

Jeffery Smith

Holy crap - this is pure awesomesauce.

Mike

You're a genius Anthony, this is amazing and I'm SO glad you kept the look and feel of the original design, one of my all time favorite mechs and one that I happily played every time I started up MW2 GBL.

Glad I got it at least almost perfect for you. I hope you'll stick around :)

Anthony Scroggins

The Behemoth is my favorite 'Mech. I love this version because it maintains the image of the original but has that amazing new art style that Batletech is doing. But I also found out how fussy I am because there are the tiniest little changes I want to make. I just want it to be 5% rounder and more graceful like the original, just around the gun ports on the arms and the legs. However I am still thrilled with it and intend to have a stack of these models from the kickstarter. I became a patron just to see this early.

Man... makes me want to buy one.

My only complaint is that I'll need to buy this model too. I had all my lances/stars worked out and then you made this.

it is pretty hard to complain about an 85% direct translation of the old unseen.

James Bixby

Hey, that's a cool idea!

Peter Holthaus

dude

I just nostalgiagasmed. :-)

*Zack Galifianakis meme nod of intense approval*

Love it.

Swen Decker

Not bad. I admit I kinda miss the single barrel but this works, well done.

Tyler Erickson

Amazing, now when do we get a look at the atlas?

Absolute unit. Thank you for fixing the guns.

Chris L

I think you made a lot of fans happy with this one . Great job to you and your team .

Charles granger

I love it has the classic design in body but it has the twin gauss. I love it

I think that, given the loadout, there's no perfect way to depict a double barrel on top, and a single barrel would look better, but, from a rules perspective, is ridiculous. Anthony, I think you did a fantastic job, far better than anyone else could have, and I can't wait to own this monster!!!! He's going to be an amazing addition to my Wolves!!!!

Joshua Bressel

To paraphrase Vader “That’s it and I am sure Skywalker is with them,,,” I love it! Way better then the project Phoenix one!

I do prefer the look of a single overhead cannon, but it was always absurd that the enormous gauss cannons fit in the little flaps on each side while a small laser took up ~25% of the 'Mech's total mass(I have similar issues with the marauders giant gun being a measley AC5). Overall I like the change, but the dual cannon does like a tad off. Maybe a single wide barrel with two openings at the end could work, or something like this? https://scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/630ac889c66a07918b8eb9c7165c0ead/5E33AD3E/t51.2885-15/sh0.08/e35/s640x640/67117877_219509472362094_6008318480066919872_n.jpg?_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_cat=106

Aaron Stevens

Very cool. Pilot station looks functional, lots of clear sight lines. This mech has the vibe of some sort of a midget Marauder. :)

Thank you! I'll shut up now. ;)

Raymond White

There's my beautiful baby!

Robert Schuster

My bad, I'll have the mech removed from the kickstarter ;)

Anthony Scroggins

Days since incorrect mech name was used: 0 :p

Ryan Voigt

Perfect... one of my favorite mechs.

Brutal. It looks like a killer. Well done!

Then my question to you is how do you ascribe any percentage of sanity to a small pulse laser being the size of a gauss rifle? :D The options were double gun pod, or no pod at all.

Anthony Scroggins

Problem with the battering ram thing is it's vaguely worded and has never been depicted. If interpreted in the way you think it would also imply the barrels retract which is silly. Instead I've given it hardened barrel tips that can slightly clamp to help guard the lenses.

Anthony Scroggins

Love it, but I still prefer the single overhead barrel, always figured the hatches to either side and to the rear of the cockpit were for the Gauss guns, still magnificent irregardlessly

Tinman

While I personally preferred the single dorsal cannon look, I absolutely love what you've done written it here. I feel the need to mention that the bulk near the rear of the arm guns are made to be battering rams that may be set forward so the behemoth can slug through.

Alexander J De Santis

Hoooooooly cow! She's beautiful! I really like the change for the gun pod :D <3

Steven Cross

So cute!

Carlos Sempere

Nailed it.

That looks nice.

Whoa man, that looks totally badass!

Sapphirus

Beautiful. The weapon fix was a long time coming.

Mitchell Berthelson

Dude, it's perfect.

David

Fn adore this mech. Looks excellent ✨✨👌
