Just yesterday I launched another story on Royal Road, Empress Ascendant. An isekai progression fantasy focused around an evil overlord reincarnated into a xianxia-esque setting. Blurb and link below.
I'll be altering Patron rewards to that paying members will be given three chapters in advance of the main release.
Viisa Hauron's empire spanned the entirety of the world, held together by his iron will and seemingly boundless magical power. Death came for him, as it does to all tyrants, but it was not the end of his tale.
Taken from his old world, his soul was put to work in a new world, armed with the vast arcane knowledge that had defined his old life. This new planet is besieged by all manner of threats, seeking to destroy anything in its wake, and the powers that be think that only the former dark lord has the skills and power to save it.
And he'll play along, for now. Only so that he can conquer this world, and then reclaim his old empire.
