AD-Free Episode 553 - Arsenal Are NFL Champions

On this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast, Elliot (@yankeegunner) is joined by Paul (@poznaninmypants), Tim (@stillberto) and Clive (@clivepafc) to discuss the Rams Super Bowl victory through the lens of what it might mean (if anything) for Arsenal. The conversation touches on the KSE business model and if winning in the NFL has any tangible ramifications for the Arsenal project. Then there’s time to laugh and Spurs and United before the pod wraps up with a long discussion of the top 4 scenarios and whether Arsenal should “expect” to finish fourth. All that and more on this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast.

Another excellent episode and lots of things to think about. Thank you gents! Not sure what other fans think of this, but, for the rest of the season, my money is on Arteta getting us over the line.

Time to put a 4th place bet on? 🙈

Did Poz say Stan said he hasn't been 'hard in a decade'? Made me chuckle. Enjoyed the pod guys. Thanks

I'd put money on Clive using a built in mic instead of his external one tonight!

Nice one guys. Feel it is far too soon to expect anything. We have a very small squad and have seen too many Arsenal teams practically lose a season in one game. Yes, our rivals look bad, but there will be one or two games where pressure will be immense. We are good but we are young, light and vulnerable. Whatever the outcome, we are in good shape going forward after this season and a EL budget striker will also boost our team massively and help us grow even further.

To Tim's point regarding Sky Sports rescheduling of the NLD, while it's true neither team is in Europe, what if it's not about Arsenal/Tottenham? What if it's more about Arsenal/Chelsea, or Arsenal/Liverpool? Both Chelsea and Liverpool are still in Europe, and if Arsenal continues climbing in the table, I'd imagine those two fixtures would be big for the networks, particularly if there is a battle for 3rd with Chelsea.

Here I am just hating American Football because of the amount of commercials and lack of actual game play within a game

I messed up…user error. Mic is fine. Sorry mate

Clive needs a better mike :)

Yes, I’m an American and I grew up in LA with the Rams. And yes at an early age ( I am now old) I grew to hate American football because of the glorification of violence. I heard excited commentators gleefully talking about they broke an opposing player’s leg. Awful. Phil Schoen once said on radio that ‘Soccer’ gives all the sport that I need. He is correct. As we know the season never really ends. Always something. Anyway, please no more about Am. Football. Otherwise great show.

Paul: 'You can't move them, it's never been done.' I think Wimbledon fans might like a word...

So much content at the minute 🔥
