Would the club allow Arteta to sell Auba 6 months into the job when he carried us to a trophy? I don't quite agree that it was Arteta's choice alone to resign Auba.

Great pod guys. For me it's the center mids with a liability like xhaka as the lynchpin that concerns ne. Show me one top 6 club that has a walking liability in the engine room. I would wager two red cards in the next 17 games coupled with a dodgy fitness of Partey. Come on guys AMN should have slotted in there from beginning of the season and should have never left us. He would have provided cover for Tomi who is my player of the seasons so far. I don't think with this SQUAD we are going to get Europe. It's 8th again and would be jumping wiht joy and eating humble pie if we finish in Europe places. With arteta if the club believes in him regardless of what position we make I would still like the powers that be to explain to fans the below two points 1. His man management skills and throwing money to resolve personality issues with his players. 2. When the bids come in for Saka and Martinelli in the summer due to us not being in Europe what's going to be our strategy. Mind you one more season out of Europe will make it.much more harder to get there , hold on to players and get new ones.

Nice one. Tim is right about the scrappy wins you need in the run in. Honestly, I feel Spurs are more suited to do just that with their team.🤐 Also feel it would be something close to a miracle job if Arteta gets 4th coming from 8th, recruiting only youngsters? Which, objectively, makes it very unlikely? Could end painfully but I don't see this as distaster, because it puts complete dedication on our long-term thinking and sparks smart decisions making. Poverty leads to creativity and it's all about being smart in our recruitment plan, I feel. A year without CL football will push us to what we historically do best and suits our DNA: recruiting high potential players before they explode. Getting a Vlahovic before he goes to Florence. Getting a Haaland before he joins BVB. If we can find that Tomiyasu, Gabriel, Ramsdale deals in the forward area, our future looks very bright. So let's not flip out if we throw it away completely. We're so young, the chance is bigger we collapse in vital games rather than succeed? BUT our club seems to be learning and making better decisions. Combined with Stans wallet, I think not doing dumb shit this window and possibly missing 4th could very well be a painful path to that promise land Paul spoke about. Let's enjoy the ride of this wonderful set of players now, in good and bad times.

ESR not mentioned as a POTS?

I think Arteta might actually make a better director of football than a manager.

If we get top four, break the bank for nkunku. He looks like he could be that versatile jota type forward. Never mind pepe, the Denis Suarez/nkunku jan window looks to have been sanlehi’s biggest fuck up after all

Cheers

Fixed!

Seems like the same episode which was last week 😅
