Just watched the latest training camp video from Dubai..Notice there was a lot of “Eddie ! , Eddie ! ..cmon Eddie! .. we’ll done Eddie! “ ( particularly from Arteta) in this session…we’re obviously not getting a new striker this transfer window 😂.

What drives me mental some time is that Arsenal has a very low player market pool in mind. When you are fighting for top 4 there should be a sufficient number of players around the world that should be able to upgrade your squad. Especially when you see that you clearly lack both on first 11 ( even if only at a couple of spots ) but also in general squad depth, i really like that we are clearing some of our frozen players (even though again most of them as free) but we really have a chance to get back to CL football , thus be able to bring more players if we focused on our problems and dont spend 3 months on a kid that is an amazing striker but that honestly did not want to come .

Spend the money on richarlison. I think he can really add goals to his game now he’s reaching his peak years. brilliant in the air and shoots off both feet. Would feel like signing Sanchez all over again

Good one guys. Please correct me if i am wrong. Last i saw Arsenal are playing in English Premier League where they play 38 games with a registered squad of 25+ over a period of 9 months. I am sure the club hired Arteta and explained this to him. So he should have signed up to manage a SQUAD and not 11 first team players.

Great pod guys. I think the key thing to remember is that it's better to do nothing in this window than to do the wrong thing. Doing nothing is a temporary setback but doing the wrong thing can take years to undo. They cannot get this wrong but that doesn't mean sacrificing the project for short-term results.
