Yes!

Tactics aside personnel coming in at those critical times wasn't a call from the manager, those were enforced changes That worked out, I don't know why you want to claim they were anything but. What I see now is very different from what I saw 2 weeks ago, that Is on the manager and good management, but that aside everything else just happened to fall in place for him. Off field stuff he did well but on field we can now say he is doing a good job even if it's the same as last December were personnel changes are forced

So being able to change personnel and improve performances again and again is always a fluke? Have players improved? Is the system looking coherent and leading to improved performances and results over time? Are the young players improving? Are the likes of Xhaka and Laca looking better under Arteta? We need to stop saying that everything that has not gone well is due to Arteta, and everything right is a coincidence. Being able to tweak tactics and change player personnel when needed is a valuable skill and not every coach has been able to find solutions several times when backs are against the wall. We are not the same team now that we were last season, and we were not the same team in the summer as we were the first half of last season. There is clear improvement in every area of the club from recruitment, to development, to culture and on pitch performances and results. That is all that matters and microanalysing if Martinelli should have started sooner, or whether rewarding Laca when he came on and changed the game against Crystal Palace, was a lucky roll of the dice rather than a great call on Arteta's part, doesn't prove anything about the overall state of Arsenal and the work Arteta is doing IMO. Arteta made decisions that has worked incredibly well and the players took their chance. If ESR had pkayed 2 weeks prior to Chelsea and had an indifferent game, he may not have taken his chance and the whole trajectory of the club could have been much different. Football is a volatile sport and one key decision can change the club's aspirations for years into the future.

But in my honest opinion all of arteta's good runs come at the back of his plans being shit and the alternative being better Think back to last year December, ESR would have not played if willian was available n auba , n martinelli wouldn't have started... This December it's auba out and martinelli n laca in , the run prior Liverpool was laca in ..... Coincidence? Maybe But laca isn't the ideal but very for this arsenal

I was right about laca wasn't I 😏

Please just give me Bruno Guimaraes, Aouar and Patrik Schick in January. We literally have a chance to finish top 2 this season. #COYG. Happy new year to everyone and I wish you all success.

Hey lads love the content as always.. will there be any mid-season or calendar-year superlatives? Could be fun

It would be extremely irresponsible if we don't strengthen the center mid area. The mis management is down to not keeping AMN busy during this period by giving him more minutes leading upto him leaving early in Jan. With Xhaka u are never far away from a red card legitimately or otherwise. You cannot as a club challenging for top 4 to ignore the center mid conundrum. It's one area that was not adequately catered during the last summer. You didn't want an Elneny and AMN in the squad, yet didn't do anything to address it. They were wasted untill now and it would have been prudent to let them go and get one more center mid to fill up the space. We would have had 3 payers during AFCon which would have been enough. If we don't address this area we are going to regret this. Mark my words.

When was Arteta ever “galaxy-brained” against Moyes? He has 3 wins and 1 draw. That draw was away from home after we had a Europa game midweek, a home game that wasn’t played at the Emirates.
