Very emotional and then to wait years for any sort of resolution!! For awhile I didn't think they're was going to be a season 3 but thank goodness there is!! Also loved you guys trying to figure out how he did it at the end haha

2026-02-25 05:33:49 +0000 UTCI just watched, but I'd guess the lack of comments comes from the absolute torture this episode inflicted. waited years for season 2 to end like that, and had to wait years for season 3. The theories were crazy. It was obsessive. unhealthy. It was the Tumblr era, and it was just dissected into every little piece. so much so they made fun of us in season 3. It's slightly easier to watch now that it's been a long time, but this episode was just heartbreaking for every character.

2026-02-22 16:38:32 +0000 UTCTo explain (without spoilers) the reason Moriarty does what he does is what is brought up repeatedly by him as the “Final Problem” the reason Moriarty’s ringtone is staying alive is because he is so intelligent that he finds life incredibly boring. Similarly to Sherlock which we see whenever he doesn’t have an interesting case he gets frustrated. Until Sherlock, Moriarty was so bored because he didn’t have anyone on his level and so now he has created the ultimate game. When they say they aren’t like ordinary people and are willing to take steps others wouldn’t, for Moriarty that includes suicide. He is ok with it if it means winning because as he has stated before living is boring to him. Moriarty’s death is a final play to insure the win against Sherlock. Last fun fact the author of the books killed off Sherlock similarly because he was bored with writing the stories. But so many people wrote in complaints he had to come up with a way to bring him back to continue writing the stories

I don't have a problem with talking during the show/movie. It's different when we be watching anime reading the subtitles but is nice to just sit and listen to a show especially since most of the content is anime.
