Agree with Paul re-Xhaka. I don’t accept he quit and took the easy option. He was frustrated and felt as a “leader” he had to show some fight. Misjudged, misplaced, rash and foolish, even though he didn’t touch the fella, but at least he showed he cared about the situation Arsenal FC were finding themselves in.

Still made it over 2hrs 😅

Arteta is floundering and it will be interesting to see if he can pull himself out. The only way I see that happening is if he can impose a style of play (aswell as improve on results). Basically I'm not Arteta in or out but the next five games might sway me. I'm fairly certain on Edu though, he simply has to go. He's responsible for bringing in players and he's been so disappointing. Cedric, Mari, Willian, a reluctance to sell non-vital players (Nketiah, AMN, etc), and the inability to clear out ineffective players are black marks to his name. Having to put out that team against Man City is a disgrace and a sackable offense. Not surrounding out young talent with competent players will bite us in the ass in the coming years. Also, congratulations guys on 500 episodes! Fair play! Here's to another 500

He made up for it many times

Hearing a lot of 'It's just three games' but it really isn't. Awful run last winter. Public fallout and shunning of players. William Saliba not ready for prem. Stupid signings, Willian and far too much on others. Overcomplicated tactics and lack of direction, use of ESR up top against Villarreal in the SEMI FINAL of a major European trophy. 2 consecutive 8th place league finishes. Extension of contracts for aging players. Ainsley situation currently developing. These are only some of the examples I can think of. I was pro Arteta for the longest time but when do we realise that we may need a new direction. Only 3 games! Please do me a favour and look at the bigger picture here. Lots of positives in FA Cup, signings of youth lately yes, but not good enough for our club. Blame not just with Arteta but with Edu and the owners.

Love when Clive goes in

I love Paul

Congratulations on 500 episodes, great pod as usual 👍

I joined Patreon because I love you guys and your podcast. It is one of the few things that’s gotten me through this dreadful season and the fact my girlfriend keeps buying Spurs kits and got me a Spurs birthday card for my recent birthday! Keep it up!

As a long standing Arsenal fan I feel like I’ve been groomed to enjoy S&M for my pleasures

Paul talking about banging players sound like I´m listening to the WAGs sowing circle.

I remember being at Upton Park for the FA Cup 1/4 final when Dennis got sent off for elbowing Steve Lomas - I think we forgave him!

Congratulations on the 500th episode! Amazing podcast and always gets me through times like this. I’m pretty sure ‘thin gruel’ is Cockney rhyming slang for Tim Krul…

I love this podcast

Hey Elliot need the identity of the music man. It's really awesome and also can we download it for ring tone ☺️.

Congrats guys , been an enriching experience being associated with you. Arteta is not good man manager because with pep he coached individual and Pep did the man management. His talent spotting is suspect. His treatment of our young players like AMN is tragic to say the least. I am ready to wager that if Arteta is here next season with us finishing outside of European football I am clear that our youngsters will leave. They will feel that they are regressing. It was hard to watch and my gut still hurts.

Congratulations! The best AFC podcast bar none. 50 years an Arsenal fan this year. You've kept me going through hard times, and not just on the pitch!

Love the Panksepp rats study reference, Paul!

Paul is annoying…..

javaughan clarke

Is Arteta part of a secret outside party that is trying successfully to erode the value of AFC, with intent to get Big Stan to finally sell? Conspiracy

😊

Thanks Josh!

🍻 thanks!

🙏

Thanks!

Congratulations to you all. I haven't missed many. Along with the Arsecasts and more recently Handbrake Off you are my company as I cook dinner. Here's to the next 500!

Also in other news… PAUL WILL NOT BE SILENCED!

‘How big does the badge feel today?’ I WAS NOT READY FOR THAT SMART ANALYSIS IN THIS MOMENT

Listening to this Pod today makes me realize what a family we Gooners are, especially the ArsenalVision regulars. Look forward to every episode and congrats again on 500!

Congrats guys 🍻🎉👏🏽👍🏽🤘🏽

Congratulations Elliott et al for 500 pods... as this platform grows it is showing that an increasing number of fans are more concerned and want to listen to your insight and knowledge, rather than toxic fan culture aka AFTV

Good stuff guys , will be donating today, great initiative

500! Congratulations guys! 🚀
