Final though, ever mentioned that Arteta needs to have a proper coaching staff who can challenge him. Why not get a mature head like a Keown to fix our defence. You guys used to jump on Wenger that he always sorrounds himself with yes men, where is that line of thinking with Arteta now? Nobody in his coaching staff challenged him on the formation? I will tell you guys if he remains in the club next season Martenneli will be sold. I fear for other youngsters as well.

Please don't mention that we are unlucky with covid. Arteta mentioned that vaccination is a personal choice. Are you guys kidding me taht when professional Athletes take so many synthetic substances but refuse to take vaccine for a pandemic. Also don't tell me these mollycoddled players don't know how to keep themselves healthy in a bubble. They owe it to thier profession, teammates and club. Guess they don't loose thier wages like common man when they don't turn up to thier jobs because they contacted a virus partying.

Good one guys, but I violently disagree with you guys on going to a match thinking that we are not going to win. You can't turn up like that. Sports teaches you time and time again that it's not done till it's over. It's down to the manager to get the team to think they have a chance. Anybody who has played any sport at any level will tell you that you cannot enter into a playground thinking you will loose, then pls don't play the game. Rest at home with a beer and cigar. I thought this was the Colney creche mentality that Wenger had cultivated and Arteta has uprooted this culture?

My favourite manager is Conte. We just spent £130m on player types that Cont[e runs f;rpm. E need a coach of young players who understands how to fit the right experience around them. The right speed and physically

Fair point

Great episode as always really interesting that the common theme that is appearing is that we seem unprepared and unable to contest the match.

A great question I heard today. Who would be the ideal manager to take these young players forward if it doesn't work out with arteta? What traits would we be looking for in them?

I've been watching Serie A and there's this cat called Abraham we should look to sign off Roma. Looked like a young Lukaku at the weekend.

Jake Walker

Saka does not want Tierney, he want the freedom to create or score. Peple once again should be on the left now.

Hey guys, great pod. To Clive’s point regarding a back 3, I think another reason Arteta didn’t play one is key person risk. Tierney went down in this game, and if that were to happen in a back three we’d have Tavares as a left back and that much more risk that he may get injured as well.

😃

Your best episode title yet, IMO. Unerringly accurate.
