White and Saliba Scouting Video Re-Upload

Engaging discussion. From my perspective Arteta may be getting White for his ability to play right back and Center mid. You never know he may be the partner for Partey. Also if he plays in CB he will still play in back 3 b cause our RB Calum stays back when Tierney bombs forward. So I guess we may be looking at White as a multi position player and will also overcome the problem during ACN.

Great talk. Neither are a sure thing as of now but there's two great players there where White has come further in his development.

I dread to think what Luiz clips would do to Elliot if we were in the market for him this season.

Seems like we are replacing a raw 20 year old with a raw 23 year old.

Wish we had kept Saliba last year, give him Europa League and League Cup games and let him develop at the club and learn from the experience of someone like Luiz!

I see White as a holding mid for us, dropping deep into defence when we're in possession to help progress the ball with a range of passing as well as being proactive and closing down fast in turnovers. Alternatively/additionally doing a similar job but from the right back position (Xhaka last year)

Love Saliba's future. If he came to Arsenal I'd want a 30 year old next to his left at CB and a grizzled RB that tucks inside and doesn't go forward. The opposite of Hector. Older guy who cleans up some of his mistakes and talks him up all the time

really enjoyed this, i have come round to the view that Saliba isn't ready and that maybe even having him as back up won't give him the minutes he needs. My issue is that White/Gabriel gives me the heeby jeebies, and for 50m you want a defender who'll come in and dominate the defense, I don't see White doing that.
