Disagree, sometimes you have to win ugly and you have to win when you're under immense pressure. We defended like lions and we had a bit of luck but this performance will galvanise the group even more and build momentum. Great Pod guys, as always.

I think we need to be careful to further lower our standard. when Unai was winning like that and we were not ok with it. To Clive's boxing references, that game was like a boxer who won all of the rounds but didn't get the decision. Doesn't feel like a win.

Great fun as always, think I listened more on you guys than me wife 😂 Re: Leno - was glad to hear Clive saying that to be a better goalie he needs to work on dominating the box/his area. Just what I tweeted during the game yesterday, esp their disallowed goal. Looking forward to the next episode 💪

Finally someone and specially Clive recognizes Elneny. He may be average and Clive might say we need to increase the floor of the squad which I agree with, but with Elneny you always get consistency and someone who will run the whole game and always available for his team mates. Don't underestimate this characteristics in a team and as always with the right partner he looks better. Look the world is filled with people who are brilliant but the world needs mediocre people like me to shine someone like Clive's brilliance. So a team always needs an Elneny to shine the light on an ESR or Partey or someone else.

So thankful that it wasn’t a negative podcast. We have all felt so negative and consumed so much negative media surrounding arsenal this season and especially in the last month. Thanks for not adding to that. It’s nice to win 🙂

Odegaard is very one footed, and I think he had the chance to punish chelsea more in the second half. Irks me a bit though that tuchel called us lucky. They struggle just like us to break down a low block

Winning against a good team without Granit Xhaka is very positive.

Hey guys, great pod as always! One thing I can’t shake is concerns about Saka. I know he was playing out of position, but even when he was in the final third, I wasn’t feeling too confident. I feel like his technical quality has started to falter a bit over the past few months, or maybe others have figured out how to play him. Either way, I think it’s time for Arteta to take him out of the team and give Pepe more consistent playing time. I think he’s been more consistent offensively, and defensively he’s become pretty effective.
