It's strange as Willian did start playing in the last 30 mins, he was almost playing as a CM at points.

Thank you guys for the pod. It’s cathartic to listen to them after frustrating games. A couple thoughts: 1. I hope Arteta learns from this and starts utilizing inverted wingers as our main system. Pepe and even Willian looked better when that change occurred. 2. Willian is... Willian. He did improve, but anyone saying someone like Nelson can’t bring more value at this point hasn’t been watching Willian closely. I’ll happily become a Nelson fan account at this point, because I think he could really do something down the left for us (the Leicester game earlier this year is standing out). 3. Saka, for how talented he is, really needs to understand when to make runs better. I’m always worried about him giving away the ball now and there were a few times in the second half when he tried to make a darting run into the box instead of coming close to Dani for an outlet. I think he needs to sit for a couple games because he’s looking tired and making mistakes. 4. I think we need to give Edu the winter and summer transfer windows before we can effectively judge him as a TD. Apparently, by all accounts, he did really good things for the academy with Per. He seems like he knows what the team needs so let’s see what happens in January. I absolutely do not want Van der Sar at Arsenal if that rumor is true. Ajax is effectively in a one-team league so anybody coming out of that system will look good. Happy holidays everyone! Hopefully Arsenal can give us a win for Xmas (he says longingly).

Just wanted to say thank you guys for all your hard work this year. It's been a bloody struggle and I'm in awe of how you all manage to find the motivation to keep going and pushing content out there for us. Seasons greetings to you all!

Thanks for the pod. On the one side I think how can he continue to pick William and Xaka (when he's available)? Yet on the other side I tell myself that he us a young manager that is learning on the job. For me, however bad we are currently playing (which is even worse than under Emery) I still have a feeling that the players are still behind the manager. So for that reason, I am still behind him.

Eh, but I get enough of the ranting every second of the day on Twitter and Reddit.. He's not saying anything every other sperglord on social media hasn't been saying - like, all-day; every-day. We're obviously all frustrated and angry, but do we need to come listen to 65 minutes of emotional verbal-diarrhea to reinforce those feelings? Like, if I wanted to hear a 20 minute diatribe on how shit the club is, I'd just go over to Arsenal Fan TV with the rest of the mouthbreathers and shit the bed with DT and Claude. That didn't used to be what this pod was about.

I like Elliot rants followed by measured Clive analysis. It's like eating a bucket of KFC and then having a banana immediately afterwards to make yourself feel healthier. You need a mix of both :)

Maybe an unpopular opinion under the circumstances, but the podcast was a lot better when it was less Elliot interminably ranting and more the other guys making rational analyses.

Agree with Liam. AV is the only thing keeping me sane in Arsenal world!

Even before I get myself settled to listen to this - just wanted to say thanks. So frustrating not being able to have this dialogue in person with any other fans and these pods help me process and get through these games. Going through the mill with something that used to provide me with so much joy and pleasure is such a heartbreaker but these type of conversations do help us get through it all.
