Loved the pod. Absolute masterclass by Arsenal. By paying the release clause this late, not only we’ve got a great player but we made sure Atletico couldn’t find a replacement in time. We tried to play it nice and they refused so we gave them the middle finger. Loved it. With Torreira it’s a win-win situation. If he has a good season, they pay the option and we get some of that partey money back, if he doesn't we can still sell him somewhere else.

great job guys. what so frustrating for us arsenal fans, is the deficiencies are so obvious to see. and we get letdown every time. maybe in the 11th hour something will happen.

Great pod guys, good listen. Guess this window came too soon for Arteta to sell Xhaka and Lacazette, as should slowly move away from them as you mentioned. Results this weekend tell me being a bit boring but decent will not be a bad thing. If we can find a little bit of rhythm going forward, we'll be okay. Yes I would have loved Aouar but the structure, togetherness and workrate is there and will give us an edge over many teams.

Elliot, come on Elneny has been fantastic. I don't want him as our starting cm. But just look at the first goal, he's playing well and doing the role that Arteta has given him. He's a role player, but he's doing it well.

Thomas Lemar on Loan would be good business. He Would operate in similar zones to the Aouar/ Willian 8 role and add depth on a budget
