AD-Free Episode 371 - In The Spotlight: KSE

We Stan. But not in the way that's usually used.

On this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment’s ownership of Arsenal is discussed and debated. First Elliot (@yankeegunner) is joined by Matt (@giantgooner) for a forensic financial analysis of KSE. First they discuss the circumstances surrounding the acquisition of the club, and then they explore KSE’s ability to fund the club for success. After that, Elliot is joined by Tim (@stillberto), Clive (@clivepafc) and Paul (@poznaninmypants) to cover all the bases regarding the owner. They explore how it felt when he first arrived and the early ownership period. Then they debate the idea of a self-sustaining model, whether Arsenal can succeed under KSE and what makes a good owner in modern football. There’s plenty of debate about mistakes that have been made and a final discussion about how long KSE will stick around. All that and more on this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast. Stay safe everyone.

Idea for a pod / question - different tactical options for next season, and which players we need or have to fit each system. For example, I think one of our biggest problems is playing pepe wide rather than inside. How do we get him inside with a FB overlapping? Flip the system so the left fullback is inverted and the right is advanced and overlapping? But then who plays the Xhaka role? Or do we copy Liverpool and send the midfielders out to cover the flanks and keep the fullbacks pushed high and wide? What are the main options for different tactical systems and how close are we to being able to put out a good team for each? (obviously Thomas partey is key to all of them...!)

Hey team great work with the lockdown pods! I can confirm that it's not as good when Eliott isn't playing...
