Second question (I'm sorry) , have you guys seen "Sunderland till I die" and what are your thoughts on it? plus please recommend some shows to all of us.

What does everyone think about the Kurzawa rumours which refuse to stop? I seriously doubt that this player is better than KT and am I right in saying that there have also been q marks about him attitudinally in the past. Maybe it’s all noise and pointless thinking about in current climate but thought I’d raise it anyway! Stay safe all and please keep podding!

What were your expectation coming into the last decade 2010? did you expect us to win more trophies, etc? what are your general expectation for Arsenal this decade ? love from Kuwait.

First time caller, long time listener (always wanted to say that and many thanks for keeping us all sane...even Paul) Would the pod consider selling both Pepe and Lacazette in order to fund a midfield / defence rebuild and go with a younger attack of Saka, Martinelli and Auba? Can’t help thinking Pepe is not cut out for Arsenals lack of counter attacking football? PS why has Pepe never been given a chance in the Ozil role... could this work?

The last decade has seen progressive stagnation/ decline for Arsenal financially and competitively and the constant rapid gains of many other clubs in the modern prem with way more European challengers. Given that, which scenario do you think by 2030 is most probable: 1. title challenging/CL side , 2. CL/EL side, 3. EL/ tiny to no chance of CL side, 4. Worse. I remind you Saudi Arabia is about to buy Newcastle 😭 🤣

With a possible exit from both Aubameyang and Lacazette at the end of this non season, do you see Arsenal able to afford the same level of players again or can you see a big reliance on Pepe, Martineli, Saka and Nketiah doing it for us next season without the need for a major name signing?

Why is Gilberto Silva (the invincible world champion with 89 caps for Brazil) so underrated by the podcast members. In the combined XI no one chooses him. We haven't had a proper DM since then. Still no one even mentioned him as a possible pick for the three from the invincible squad (not even stillberto, what?). Is there any position where the gap between invincible and post-invincible era is bigger than DM?

The two suggestions are for next years competition

*had a laugh at Liverpool

I see two possible solutions to finish this season and have a reduced season 20/21 We've all had a caught at Liverpool, at the thought of them not winning the league But we must finish the season whenever and however we can So even if it takes until Christmas to finish this season... First - postpone all cups - CL, EL, FA, League cup Then even if the season starts in January - two games a week will have it finished in May Or second Screen shot the league table as it stands now and make two mini leagues - 1st, 3rd, 5th (all odd numbers) in one league - 2nd, 4th (evens) in the other with playoffs for champions and relegation promotion Again, should finish by May I prefer the first because if there is no CL we could attract players who are not swayed by that What this does is give us plenty of time to finish the current season

At what point do you guys put in football manager 2020 and just watch full 90 minute matches of AI football?

During the Emirates Era Draft podcast, Eduardo went in the 2nd round, while Giroud was picked in the last round, behind others, like Poldi. I'm pretty indifferent about Giroud but his numbers look a lot better to me than Eduardo's, who was before my time. Looking back on it, who do you think was overdrafted or underdrafted?

I appreciate this could be relatively time consuming so let’s go ahead and assume the manager is Mourinho.

Name an isolation 11 for all eternity. 11 players and 1 manager who have to self isolate in their homes until the end of time, thus never appearing on our screens again.

In a purely hypothetical which may even be wrong to ask in these times. If the season does get to play out to completion is this layoff actually beneficial for arteta and the team? They will essentially get a mini preseason in the middle of the season.
