Mega Mashup Zip Pack: Feb 2021 -- ah!, Lewis Wake, Smija, more!

As many of you know, I spent the last two months back in San Francisco, packing up and (mostly) organizing all my worldly possessions, in addition to selling off and shipping out over 100 packages of Bootie Mashup swag that was sitting in my storage, amongst various other pandemic projects. So please forgive me for not getting last month’s mashup pack out by the end of the month. Hey, it was a short month!

But OMG, this February 2021 mashup pack is a LOT. As per usual, January and February were a little lighter than usual, as most mashup producers seem to release a bunch of stuff before the end of the year and then things in the scene dry up a bit at the beginning of the year. So I took this lull as an opportunity to dig through the extensive back catalogs of three producers on Bandcamp whose work I very much like, hence the overabundance of mashups by ah!, Lewis Wake, and the retired Smija, who put out a series of solid mashup albums from 2013-2018.

More mashups are on the way, as I just went on a downloading rampage from the past three weeks, and added over 150 new tracks to “the Pile” to sift through. So you’ll be getting the March mashup zip pack in probably less than two weeks. But until then, these 221 tracks — containing 14 hours of mashup goodness — should more than keep you occupied.
