Bit late to this but Krupa mentioned Brasserie Zedel - if you go downstairs there's a lovely cocktail bar in there, a great escape from the buddy Piccadilly Circus area, or for a pre/post Picturehouse Central drink

Hahaha yeah there is that risk! We have often had enough time for dinner and a drink after coming into the city for the nearby IMAX. Def worth the risk 😁

Missed many a train because of this thinking 😆

Our local "working mans club" used to serve 14 year olds as long as your parents were in.... Used to be in the old laws it was allowed.

As you probably know if you look on the back of your bigger beer brands bottles ( San Miguel, peroni carlsberg etc.) they are all brewed in the UK. Spoons heavily invested in the factories to help them with construction cost which helped spoons secure a very lucrative contract for very cheap beer. Hence why the beer is still so cheap comparatively.

So Krupa mentioned that the Brewdog pub in the Waterloo station isn’t that good. There is actually another, small less official brewdog pub in Waterloo near the Lush shop, called Waterloo Arms. There are wooden stairs leading underground into a wood panelled pub and it’s quite nice to relax there before a train journey. https://drink.brewdog.com/uk/waterloo-arms

Vlog idea: RKG come to Dublin and try the best pints of Guinness in the city. There are a few places generally considered the best Guinness in the country that you could hit up in a single day. Depending on how pissed you want to get!

Gav, I just shared one of the pix on Instagram we took on Montjuic in Barcelona (I’m @losreed) :) And yep, that was my 85 year old dad. If y’all are ever in Atlanta let me know. I’d love to grab a drink with you.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a hangover. I might have a drink once a year at most.

After many years, I found the best hangover cure to be not drinking at all.
