Should I increase my commission prices?
Added 2023-05-02 10:08:00 +0000 UTCAs you all may know, everything I make is always free. So far, it doesn't look as sustainable as I hoped for.
Don't get me wrong, I don't plan on making my work private or in a paywall.
I really want to make this a decent source of income and I really enjoy doing this.
It takes me a long time to make photo sets/animations because of the limits of what my PC can do, hence why some animations aren't really super smooth.
With how much I charge for commissions, it's barely paying my bills and I can't save up for upgrades.
Hope I can solve this dilemma soon T^T

Hmm ... someone has money apparently. What's the amount you need to make a fair profit per item? An arbitrary percentage increase doesn't explain what you need to make each video, time wise.

2023-05-05 19:52:45 +0000 UTCI think one good idea you could do in terms of the tiers/commissions is similar to how the 30 dollar tier has a 2-4 min video I think the 100 dollar tier should be 2-10 minute video commission. Then the 200 dollar tier obviously stays the same with that 20+ video tier. Cause I'm thinking of doing another commission with you that's longer but idk if I need to force it to be 20+ and pay the 200. That's just my opinion though you don't have to listen to it.
