Hi everyone!
I wanted to give you a quick update on Astortion.
I've been working on it for a little over a month now and things are going well. I'm a bit behind the schedule but we should start playtesting in a few weeks.
I spent most of February learning the ropes of both Bevy and Rust, setting up the project, configuring hot reloading, making it work with Blender, etc. I still have lots to learn but I feel relatively confident now.

This month I've been working on setting up the physics. Arguably one of the most important aspects of the game. I'm mostly finished and I'm now working on implementing gameplay mechanics for playtesting.
This time I'm focusing more on a gamepad control scheme, rather than mouse & keyboard, and it actually feels much better and simpler. But we'll talk about this more during playtesting.
Also, I'll be streaming tomorrow on my second channel (Sunday 10:00 AM PT / 17:00 UTC+0). I'll give you a more detailed update, talk about my plans for the gameplay, and try to answer any questions.
From now on I'll also give you weekly updates about the development over on our Discord server.
