Are things about to get more complicated for Heather than she is capable of handling? Perhaps. Between headless nurses and giant plant-girls and impending revolutionary violence, she can hardly keep up. And now she's got a pain in her leg! Maybe she should sit down for a bit, take a breather ... no? Oh well. Onward we go!
Not much else to say this week, dear readers! I think we might actually be on track for finishing the arc around chapter 30, but we'll see! I actually wanted to keep writing the whole next scene, but then I realised that would clock in at like 12k words and I would probably need an extra day in the week to draft and edit that much more. So, cliffhanger it is! Raine's situation poses a very interesting question, indeed; does she actually need to be 'awake' in order to achieve her goals here? She wants to protect her friends and help Heather, and she's doing that already, so ... maybe she can stay dreaming!
