We return once again to the gloom-shrouded corpse of a wasted earth, wrapped safe in a shell of living steel, for now. Arc 10 is now properly underway! Not much else to say this chapter, dear readers, except that, as always, I hope you are enjoying Necroepilogos as much as I am enjoying writing it. I couldn't do this without all of you and your generous support, really! Thank you so much!
Ah, but I do have some art to share this week. There's a few new pieces over on the fanart page, including two animations (which I unfortunately can't link because of how wordpress functions, so you'll have to click through to see them. They're down near the bottom of the page!) We also have this depiction of Arcadia's Rampart post-Change (by DreamLupus), and this illustration of Iriko eating a piece of rebar, from last week's chapter (by Melsa Hvarei). That is such a wonderful image, indeed! I ... almost can't reply to this without spoilers, since it sort of loops back around to some of the original draft stuff regarding Amina. But! I will simply say that you aren't far off where she might be going, in the long run. Cute on the inside, spiky on the outside, ready to curl up and protect herself!

Small, cute, and squishy on the underside, but on the outside, she can curl up into an armored ball of blades, barbs, and needles. Right now, she is squishy on the outside with a blade hidden inside. But in the future, after building some confidence, she could bring that blade to the outside, on full display, and leave her squishyness safely tucked away on her underside, only to be shown to the people that she trusts. Like a hedgehog laying on it back and getting some belly rubs.
