mischief and craft; plainly seen - 21.9
Added 2023-08-19 15:06:04 +0000 UTCChapter crosses the castle courtyard in one leap, going for the open window and the shadowy promises within, chasing a teasing giggle. And here we go, another chapter! Heather's had her nice day off, her self-discovery, her secret manuscript, but now she's got serious matters to attend. Responsibility for something not her fault. Those ex-cultists aren't having a good time. But perhaps there is another matter to attend to first? Let's find out! Hope you enjoy, dear readers! And here's that link, as always, for clicking!

Haha, thank you! Honestly, I am very proud of Lozzie, she always surprises me and does things I don't plan; she wasn't even supposed to be in this scene in the outline, but then she appeared and joined in!

2023-08-19 23:13:03 +0000 UTCHuh! Oh wow, that's fascinating. I've never had a dream like that myself, but this scene was heavily based on some pictures I've seen of weird toilets, including a half-remembered one of a single tiny toilet in a massive concrete room. I wish you better dreams in the future! Or at least a nice clean dream toilet instead.

2023-08-19 19:20:05 +0000 UTCA dream with a room full of toilets. Honestly, I've had dreams like that sometimes. Usually involves me trying to find one that's not occupied, flooding, or absolutely filthy. The bathrooms themselves would always be these large rooms with angles in 15, 30, and 45 degrees. The toilets, weirdly shaped urinals on half walls, and the sinks would be organized in fractal patterns with paths leading between them. The rooms would always be partially flooded and lead into other rooms through arching doorways and flights of steps, always turning about and leading back into other room. Hardly any privacy either, most of the toilet don't have dividers, and the ones that do are far to small to be used comfortably. Long story short, use the restroom before going to bed because dreams are fucking weird sometimes.
